Lovers of YA discussion

In Read to Review authors provide a limited number of free copies of their books in exchange for a thoughtful and honest review. The feature is aimed at helping connect interested readers with authors offering free books. Every Offered book will have it's own thread. Readers can post in the thread of a book if they are interested in reviewing it. Be sure to read to Rules & Regulations Carefully.

Authors

*Authors can sign up to enter your book in this listing. An email will be sent to you when I create a thread for your book.

*This is a YA group and books offered for readers to review must be Young Adult books.
*Readers will be posting in your thread asking for a copy, it is your responsibility to Email/comment back.

*Upon receiving request comments by Readers, the author should Email the book to them.

*Readers will be required to post a review on goodreads, but posting a review on Amazon will be entirely voluntary. You can respectfully request readers to post on Amazon, but we will not require them to open an account there if they do not already have one.

*Please check your thread regularly and send books out promptly so readers are not waiting.

*Readers are encouraged to post honest reviews. Do not comment on reviews, unless you just say a simple "thank you". Do not request changes or dispute points in the reviews

*If you find a reader has completely failed to review a free book you may post a note to that effect in your own book thread only.

*Please offer a minimum of 10 copies for review. Anything less than that and your book will lose impact and will also frustrate potential readers who sign up too late to get a free book.

*Fully Completed Books Only. Please make sure that you are submitting only completed books. This is not a way to get free editing help.

*If a reviewer does not their review by the timeframe, it is up to the author to contact them to inquire about it.

*When all copies are taken it will be moved to the "Read to Review Complete" folder. This Allows people to find the available ones. If the book you have read is one of those, Please go to the books thread in the "completed" Folder to post the link to your review.

Reviewers

*Any members who sign up will receive the book at a first come first serve basis. This is also based on how many copies the author is wanting to be reviewed.

*By signing up you are agreeing to read and review the assigned book within the timeframe the author has stated. If you do not compete the book within that timeframe or have not made contact with the author for an extension you may not qualify to review any other books. Please note that we must respect he authors and their generosity in sharing their books with us.

*Amazon new rules suggest that it is best to state "review based on an advance copy". Do not use the words "in exchange for an honest review" as they can now remove any review that suggest you got something, even just a free copy "in exchange".

*Goodreads review guidelines require that if you receive a free copy of a book, you must disclose that in your goodreads review. Please make sure that you are stating in your reviews if you have received the book from the Lovers of YA group.

*Sign up for only two book at a time. if you are in the process of reading and reviewing two author-provided books, you cannot sign up for any more until your reviews are posted.

*Please let the author know if life starts to get in the way and you think you can't get your review in on time.

*When you post your review on websites, please write I received this book at the goodreads Lovers of YA group for free exchange for an honest review.

*It is ILLIGAL to share the book. Please do not share the book without the authors permission.

*If you see a book that interest you, put your Email into the discussion thread along with what format you prefer.

*Review must be a least two paragraphs long, not just a star rating.
