The Reading Challenge Group discussion

Discuss December's alternate group read here. We're reading Mansfield Park by Jane Austen.

I read this years ago and can't wait to reread it this month!

I also read this book years ago. I thought the main character was more subdued that some of Jane Austen's other heroines, but enjoyed the book overall.
I watched a film adaptation by Anne Hathaway that made the story "spicier", which was not the best idea. It detracted from the story.

I should start out busy saying I love all things Jane Austin. This one is not my favorite but I still love it. I don't have time to reread but I can't resist a discussion about one of her books.

I'm going to try and read this this month... we'll see if I get to it!
