If you are willing to place one of your February reading choices in the hands of another person, leave a comment here with at least five books and no more than ten from your TBR shelf. Participants need to leave comments no later than January 24th.

Here's how it will work:
Sophia will match people up and leave a comment with a list of who will choose for whom.
When you see the person you are to pick for, then just look at their list in the above comments and leave a new comment with their name and the book you chose for them by January 31st.

You also need to watch and see what book your person chose from your list for you.
You have the rest of the month to read the book.

So if this sounds like something you would like to do, just comment below leaving your name and list of book choices for someone to pick your February book.

Anji | 275 comments I'll be up for this one, this time around Sopia. I'll check the spreadsheet I'm compiling of all the JAFF books, ebooks and audios I've got (it's a long job trawling through my Amazon and Audible purchase histories!) and I'm going to put my ten oldest, unread books on my list.

@Anji Sounds good, Anji! I had to do that two years ago after noticing I got a few books twice. Like your plan to get to those oldies. That's what I did, too, but I also picked only ones from my e-reader so they will count toward another reading challenge I joined. Two birds; one stone. :)

@Kirk You're very welcome, Kirk! Plenty of time to shuffle the lists as needed. I'm still contemplating a few I might swap out.

message 6: by Barb (new)

Barb (barblibrarian1) We skip January? I only started doing this in the last couple of months of 2016....

message 7: by Barb (new)

Barb (barblibrarian1) Here are my February picks:

An Unlikely Missionary
Fitzwilliam Darcy, Rock Star
Mr. Darcy Goes Overboard: A Tale of Tide & Prejudice
Pemberley Ranch
A Weekend with Mr. Darcy

I own all of these and just keep skipping over them to get to the newest Regency titles! I need to spread my wings a bit.

message 11: by J. W. (new)

J. W. Garrett (jeannewallacegarrett) | 1166 comments I'm in!! It was so much fun having someone pick for me. I was able to clear out a couple of books from my TBR pile. I accidentally put a book 2 on my list so, when it was picked, I had to quickly read book 1. That cleared out 2 books from my pile.

Someone please pick for me in February 2017:

1) Memory: Volume 1, Lasting Impressions: A Tale Of Pride And Prejudice
2) Darcy's Journey
3) A Remedy Against Sin: A Pride and Prejudice Variation
4) It Happened at Netherfield Park: Three Pride and Prejudice Novelettes
5) Miss Bingley's Revenge
6) Georgiana Darcy's Diary: Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice Continued
7)One False Step: A Pride and Prejudice Variation
8) Mistaking Mr. Darcy: A Pride and Prejudice Variation
9)Undone Business: A Pride and Prejudice Novella Variation
10) Second Chances

Whoever chooses for me... I thank you in advance.

@ Ana-

I don't think it will be a problem. I'll draw your name and the other person's names on time. You can pick for them by the end of January so they can do their book in February. The person who gets your name can choose and then you can get to the book as soon as you can. If this sounds confusing, I'll help you through the steps when we get closer. :) Glad you can join us.

Hi Ana!

I'm picking The Trials of the Honorable F. Darcy by Sara Angelini for you to read. It was one of the first modern retellings I read. Hope you like it.

message 48: by Kristin (new)

Kristin Debbie,
All of your books look really interesting but I have picked Snowbound at Hartfield: A Sweet Tea Novella; Pride and Prejudice sequel. I recently found it and am really interested in seeing if Colonel Fitzwilliam and Elizabeth Elliot work together.
