Another week gone! I finished the girl on the train and started cress. How did everyone else do?

I finished Snow Falling on Cedars which I enjoyed right up until the ending. I'm reading Canadian Pie at this week which I am liking so far.

Did you like Girl on the Train? I personally didn't care for it all.

I didn't dislike it but I don't think it deserved the hype. I much preferred Before I Go to Sleep, I found it difficult to empathize with Rachel because she was just so self destructive. And the Rachel back story thing (no spoilers) was hard for me to read.

I don't get the hype about it either and I enjoyed Before I Go to Sleep too. I like books where I can root or empathize with at least one character.... :)
