Sanjana | 1 comments 1. The Count of Monte Cristo - Superb plot. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

2. East of Eden - One of my all time favourites. Each character is well sketched out and I was involved in their lives and loves from page 1. Had to put down the book to just soak in Steinbeck's beautiful words multiple times.

3. Night - Harrowing.

4. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - This book is a trip.

5. Dark Matter - DID NOT EXPECT TO LOVE THIS SO MUCH. Please don't read any summaries or reviews. I went in blind and was amazed. Love, betrayal, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, thriller. It's all there.

6. The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival - Doesn't read like a non-fiction book. Learnt a lot about Russia and Tigers. His style of writing really pulled me in.

7. Memórias Póstumas de Brás Cubas - Best book ever. Hilarious and intelligent writing.

8. Crime and Punishment - First Dostoyevsky.

9. Medea - Very forward for a book written in 400BC.

10. The Suitcase - Hilarious! Also introduced me to a ton of other poets and writers, which is always a big plus.
