We're almost to the end of the year! How is everyone doing on the challenge? I have to admit (with some irony) that this is going to be the first year in recent memory I don't crack 100. Whoops. But I know most of you have done amazingly!
Don't forget there will be some awesome prizes in January for those of you crack 100! There's still time for that final push.
I've read 99 books, but two don't count towards the challenge, so I've still got 3 to go. It's going to be tight, but I'm not giving up. I have four books part read, so it is still do-able.
I just hit 100 today, and I still have 2 more books I want to read. 102 isn't bad for me, especially when I'm working and in my first semester of college.
Not gonna make it. I'll be in the 70's, but there were just too many interruptions this year to make the kind of progress I wanted. I will say I am grateful for the ones I did read and many of them were of the best quality.
I'm at 98 qualifying books, with 4 half-read on my nightstand, so I just have to sit down and finish them. That's the most grown-up books I've read in the last 14 years. How cool is that? This challenge also helped me crush my goal of 200 picture books, currently 281. Thanks for the motivation, K. M.
I think I will make it to 45 this year :) A lot less than I hoped, but there is always next year! And this challenge helped me finally get some of those to-read books off my list!
I just realized that I only have 13 books to go rather than 20! I had 7 books that didn't have a finished date on them so they weren't marked as done (strange). Woohoo!! One more step closer to the finish line. Er, 13 I should say...
