We had fun discussing the rock star life for two years versus living a long dull life. Here are the numbers
8, 8.5, 8.5, 8, 7, 8, -, 5, 4
Comments included:
"The art I would give a 9, but the story an 8."
"Really liked the tone of the book."
"Too colorful."
"Smart and well thought out, but purposefully vague."
"It's not life changing like a Louis CK comedy bit."
"I couldn't pronounce the names, I kept calling the one girl 'Tirimisu'"
"It feels reminiscent of Achilles who was given the choice to live life for a short while as a hero, or a long boring life."
"It just felt like a superhero book, and I couldn't get past that."
We discussed the virtue of watching the documentary "Press Play Pause." Link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1737674/
Colors predominate years throughout history. We were intrigued by the corporations that choose which colors will be utilized during an era in history. By the way, 2017 is green. Here is an article about the Institute that chooses the colors:

Here are the color palletes for the decades:

And lastly, we discussed the Superhero Run coming up April 8th. Our group is listed as a group to join.
