YA and Beyond discussion

I've been doing a lot of thinking this year. I had no problem meeting my reading goal for 2016, but sometimes it felt like a stress in my life. And I'm not in school anymore, so reading should not be a chore for me.

My goal this year is to read for pleasure. To be able to pick up a book just for fun. To have the freedom to close a book after a few pages if I don't like it. I started doing that at the end of this year, and it was so freeing.

I would like to read the Hidden Gems for this group because they were some of my favorite reads of the year.

I think that's a great goal Elora! Reading should never feel like a chore :)

Great challenge Elora! My husband constantly tells me that reading should not be a chore when I complain about needing to finish reading something or not having time to read for awhile :)
