Virginia Rand It's that time of year when we start thinking about new years resolutions. Some will last and some will last until February, but that's not the point.

I'm curious what you guys are thinking about?

For me, this is the first year I'll be including German books. I'm getting better slowly, but I'm only on the level of 'Siehe Spot lauf' at the moment. I'm hoping by the end of 2017 I'll be reading about the adventures of Noddy. :-D

Shari-amor I know I'd like to own and read more graphic novels in 2017. I'd also like to take more to time to read period. 2016 has been the worst year for overall book reading. I usually read close to 200 books a year and only did a little over 50.

Virginia Rand 50 is nothing to sneeze at! But I know how that feels.

I want to read more graphic novels as well but they're so expensive for the time you get reading them. Similar to a movie, but that's why I don't go that often. :-/

Shari-amor Very true. And it's rare to catch them on sale.

message 5: by Virginia (new)

Virginia Rand I'm guilty of reading them online. :-(

Shari-amor No need to feel guilty. I've never thought to read em online before. And I actually just remembered that you could, now that you mention it.

Michael Benavidez | 1605 comments Oooo more Graphic novels for sure, just don't know where to start or with who.
For me, I'm thinking to catch up on the Stephen King books I currently own. Also on my list is some sci-fi stuff, I've some Isaac Asimov, the actual Philip K. Dick novels and not just short stories, and Douglas Adams Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe.
LAST but not least, I want to get back into indie books, and authors that I've missed. Especially those that have been on my kindle for so freaking long. So in short for those, finally turn on my kindle
