I can't wait to get started on this one. Sorry, I've been trying to catch up on two other ones where our groups meet in person.

Cat, I promise I'm going to read your book. I always leave up the threads so when I'm done catching up on two I have now, I am going for your book. I will leave a review when I'm done with it.

I got on a kick into reading books on dogs after reading Wesley Banks list of '100 Best Dog Books Ever' (you can find it from a search on your browser.) Last year he had this book as #75, and didn't make his top 100 this year 2022. Shows you what his opinion based on his algorithm is worth as 'What a Dog knows' is top 100 in my opinion.
As I live in Clayton not far from Raleigh, hope to shake Cat's hand some day. Hope she writes another book involving dogs.

You absolutely MADE my day, and it's my birthday, so it feels extra nice. And we are Triangle neighbors! One of my best friends lives in Clayton. I have an author Facebook account (boringly, Cat Warren, Author) that I keep pretty up to date if I'm doing talks in the area. I'm going to be doing a Zoom event for a Wake County Library in August, if you are interested. I'm working on historic human remains (both writing, research, and working with dogs).
Here's a piece I did for the Science Times two years ago about that work. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/19/sc...
Best,
Cat

I am not on facebook, but hope to find a way to keep in touch so I can attend some event or something to meet you so I can let you know how much I appreciate your work. I have bumped into people who have said they took a class with you. Maybe you can tell me the classes you teach that are dog related and I can look into attending.
I am on an unobtainable quest to read 'all' dog books, well, at least the great ones, so if I can ever be a resource and point you in the direction of any dog books you may want to hear about let me know. I have GR shelves by category of dog book. I don't consider myself the greatest review writer, but I am getting to quite a few books and currently own a more than I have read yet.
