It seemed like a good opportunity! :D I love fantasy. It is my favorite genre by far and reading and writing is a job as well as it is a way of life. :D

Oh great! A fellow fantasy fanatic! :D Yes, well, it's really what I'm best at writing. And in fantasy, you can blend tons of other genres as well. :) I hope you get to read Vault of Dreams, too! :D
Yes, the project I'm currently working on is a mixture of sci-fi, fantasy and a sort of historical-based modern world

Excellent! :D How far are you along into writing it?

38,000 words but it might have to be split up into more than one book because I currently have it planned up to 141 chapters and it's not even halfway done at that point!

Wow!!! :o Yes, I would say split it up! Evening Wolves is 191,000 words and many people groan when they see the paperback but as they get into it they all love it. So, I would suggest two books, but if it's well paced and plotted, they will love to have one big fat amazing book. :)
I wish you the best with it, Keira! Keep me up to date about it, okay?
May I ask the title? :)

Of course! At the moment it is entitled 'WIPP' as in 'Work In Progress Praedon'
Praedon means pirate in latin but is one of the places in the book so that is why its called that. Basically: no title yet.
I have four main characters with POVs though:
Poppy, Evander, Norna and Jun
Then there is:
Mélissa, Isabella, Sumedha, Alex, William, Allyn, Khaled
and others as well

Okay, cool! Very cool. Pirates…I like it. :) I understand not having a title yet, but for me, I have to have a title before anything else! :D I actually think Praedon is an excellent title, but whatever you come up with when you're finished, let me know.
And hey, it sounds like there is English, Spanish, and North African/Arabic influences?
PS, I had a Scottish Terrier named Poppy, so I love that name! Is she a cute and sanguine character like my Scottie was? :D

Well all my worlds are made from a mixture, so there are definitely english, scottish, portuguese, korean, japanese, russian, indian and swedish influences confirmed so far and probably more to come!

That's very cool. I really like when societies and histories are blended. I am doing that myself with my secret book. ;) I'm excited for you! Those cultures are so rich! :D
Well, my advice is do the title you can't ignore. The title you can't leave behind. :)
Ideas....
Fairytale Pirates
So the Galaxy Hangs
Balls of Red and Purple
Spheres
Threads of Satin and Metal
Tighter Bound
Swathes of Gas and Silk
Trees of Gas and Silk
let me know what you think!

Ooooh! :o
Hmmm….
I think it really matters on the tone for me. Is there another author you can compare your style to? Or can you say if the tone is light and magical or is it dark? Is it poetic, it is a blend? What would you say the tone is?

I love her already! :D

Hmm I don't think so. There are definitely some poetic parts about the galaxy and some important commentaries on life, paired with some more heavy romance and friendship and family, a lot of travel. Really I wanted to get through the fascination with space, something with planets, the importance of the clothing (in terms of fitting in, the society and some of the character's interests) and maybe even the genealogical aspect of the cultural mix-up which is so important to me.

If it's really fun and just mind-blowingly fast paced and magical and again, fun, you cannot beat Fairytale Pirates. I mean, if I saw that with a great cover, I would snatch that up. But then again, I would expect it to be like the title said, and it could have lots of color and go through commentaries and romance, but it would have to maintain the quality of being a fairytale, that fairytale tone. But to me, that is a winner, 100% and I would mark that TBR right now.
For the points you've said, I think So The Galaxy Hangs is pretty good because it's showing the breadth of scope in character and culture and space and time, it shows this slice of conflict and tragedy and commentary and humor and love and all that.
Those are my thoughts. :)

Yeah, I feel like 'Fairytale Pirates' might make it seem like there are actual pirates in it, when the point is that the pirates come from fairytales. I like 'So the Galaxy Hangs' because it also sort of seems like there is a kind of heavy weight over it, which there is.

I'm glad you like those. I mean, they're both great but they're different. So, whichever you go with, it'll be a good choice. :)
