Harry didn't feel he could trust Rachel entirely throughout the investigation but felt a certain kinship with her. How are they alike? What did you think when they slept together?

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments Harry and Rachel were both outsiders in this investigation. The FBI wasn't going to let them help in any meaningful way. As far as sleeping together, it didn't advance the story at all. It almost felt that the author felt obligated to throw that into the story.

I've never trusted Rachel and Harry proved he couldn't either when she lied about being in her hotel room. Them sleeping together was pretty awkward and I certainly didn't see it coming. It made no sense given that her career was derailed partly because she slept with McEvoy. Is part of her a bit self destructive?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Rachel and Harry did have a lot in common in terms of being outsiders on the case, so it did not surprise me that they teamed up.

Actually, there sleeping together made more sense to me that Harry and Eleanor or Rachel and Jack because they did it in the aftermath of a violent, near death experience.

Their relationship seemed to have potential, but they both ruined it. I will say it again - Connelly needs to stay away from the romance!
