I liked Raven Black, but I was taken in by The Blackhouse and thoroughly enjoyed the entire trilogy. I was sorry to hear that production on a tv series was stopped though. I hope you enjoy them both as much as I did.

I am still working my way through the Jimmy Perez series. Unfortunately, Offshore is only available in print, or Kindle form so I have to find time to read it before moving on to the next in the series.

I enjoyed The Blackhouse by far the most of the three. I plan to read the rest of the trilogy.

I had trouble keeping the characters straight in my head while listening to Raven Black as an audiobook. Watched the DVD and enjoyed the scenery just as much or more than the story. Will watch more on DVD. Seemed to be simplified from the book, as well as a different season, and book 1 was episode 2 on DVD.

To Scotland with Love is a light fluffy romance. I enjoyed the setting and references to quilting. May read more in the series. I peeked at synopses in GoodReads, and they're all romances, but with a different protagonist each time, not continuing with the same protagonist (which I prefer).

Lewis Trilogy one of my favorites!

I've only read The Blackhouse too, Susan, but like you want to read the others - The Lewis Trilogy is very popular in this group so we shouldn't be disappointed! Also just read Coffin Road, he describes islands in the Hebrides so beautifully :)
