It was nominated and won the Humor category.

I've actually read a lot of the 2016 Choice Awards books this year. A lot of the fiction books are still on my to-read but the one I'm looking forward to most is The Girls by Emma Cline

It was nominated in YA fiction. Nope, not a winner.

Yep, several of them were in my TBR before the awards: Underground Airlines, All the Birds in the Sky, Age of Myth and I've planned to read the Six of Crows series and the Raven Cycle in 2017 :)

Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris

I am reading Behind Closed Doors, by B.A. Paris, which although did not win a category, was a runner-up in both Best Mystery & Thriller and Best Debut Goodreads Author.

There are many Choice Awards books I'm interested in reading, including All the Ugly and Wonderful Things, It Ends with Us, and When Breath Becomes Air, to name a few!

In the fantasy category I want to read the first book in the series by Ilona Andrews and another book by Patricia Briggs. I have read Rebel in the Sands (which won in the Goodreads Author Debut category) and I highly recommend!

YES, THE GIRLS AND THE NEST HAVE BEEN ON MY TBR LIST FOR AWHILE. I'M GOING TO TACKLE THE NEST DURING THIS CHALLENGE, WHICH I'M GLAD ABOUT!

- A little Update: I LOVED THIS BOOK!! What a great read for week one of my first time around the year in 52! I knew absolutely nothing about this book and now..it's at the top of my favorite book list. I haven't read anything written this well in sooooo long. Read this if you have the chance!!

Dark Matter by Blake Crouch was a runner-up in the Science Fiction category.

Along with most of the books in the Science Fiction and Fantasy categories, especially The Wheel of Osheim by Mark Lawrence, I am quite interested in picking up Are We Smart Enough to Know How Smart Animals Are? by Frans de Waal from the Science and Technology category.
