Fantasy Book Club discussion

For my reading list for 2017. Can anyone recommend me fantasy books centered around pirates? Not just involving pirates on the side but revolving around ship wars, and salty wenches, sea monsters and lost treasures. Also if it includes female pirates, all the better.

Inda by Sherwood Smith

The Liveship Traders trilogy by Robin Hobb has a pirate as one of the main characters.

There's On Stranger Tides by Tim Powers.

Steel, it doesn't have a very high overall rating and it's a young adult novel but it fits your criteria for female pirates. I've been debating wither or not to put it on my TBR.
