Sandy | 1630 comments I'll be interested to see what you come up with. I tried An Instance of the Fingerpost but gave up after 30 pages - partly because it is such a long book and I had others due back to the library, I ended up reading Shinju. I found it hard to find many set in that period.

I read The Amorous Nightingale (Christopher Redmayne, #2) by Edward Marston it is book 2 in the series. Captures Restoration England very well. Highly recommend
