The Not a Book Club Club discussion

Part 1

Please keep all discussion and speculation to the events of Part 1 (Prologue-Chapter 3).

Please do not discuss events from later chapters/books. Referring back to events from a previous section/book is fine.

Hurray another group of people. I really feel like he just likes coming up with names and descriptions at this point.

Yeah, this book is where it really starts to slow down (at least based on my very short review). I honestly thought it was earlier.

I didn't take notes while listening, so my comments on these first few sections may be light.

Then again I think very little happens beyond squabbling for much of this section.

My plan is to pull out my MMPB this weekend to determine which sections the few comments I do have belong in.

Ya Jordan just drops another x number of characters in the equation, as if we did not have enough.

So in the prologue it looks like a number of queens and kings are plotting against Rand.

Also how does Moridin have the colvsera or the mind trap ? He is also using the true power.

Verin literally gets into the mind of black sister to gain some information.

Nyaneve and gang escapes ebou dar with kin plus aes sedai leaving Mat's faith in tangle.
