Hi everyone,

Just getting the thread up for our Feb read and some book suggestions.
Please post one suggestion that you would like to see for our next group read. The poll will go up on the 8th January so that we can vote and have plenty of time for purchasing/acquiring the book.

Kimberly (kimberly_3238) | 600 comments A Song for the Dying (Ash Henderson, #2) by Stuart MacBride ; more thriller/police procedural, but I've really wanted to get to this one.

Second choice: Psycho Sanitarium by Chet Williamson --I've seen a few great reviews for this one....

Vicki Willis Can A Song be read as a stand alone or do you need to have read the first one?

I'm pretty sure it's a stand-alone with just the same main character, but Kate is more familiar with his work, I think.

It's the second one in a series but a completely different story, there may be some details that come from the first book but I don't think its going to be necessary to have read the first one to enjoy the second.

Yeah it could be read separately, I really liked that one a lot.

I think it was Kate's opinion that got me to read the first, and I've been dying to read more by this author!

Me too, I've wandered into the other series and I was hoping when I saw this one nominated that a third might be out already.

Well, I ordered that one and The Haunted, so whatever wins is what I'll read first. :)
