So for example Gentleman Bastards I've read 3 out of 3 published books so I consider that up to date but not completed. Started a new series going up to 27 with Promise of Blood

Oh, worth it though. I've gone up as I read the most excellent Nevernight.

Finished off the series Red Rising 3/3 Red Rising

Finished Stiletto bringing Chequey Files up to date.

Finished The Death of Dulgath brining Riyeria Chronicles up to date.

Starting the Demon Cycle Feb-1 The Warded Man so I'm open series total remains the same.

I enjoyed Red Rising/ Chequy/ Riyria. I own the last but not read that, yet.

Red Rising got better. The first part of book one was awful and I almost quit. Chequy is entertaining. I find the humor better than the fantasy. Riyeria the middle book was the best IMO.

4th series brought up to date Mistborn Era 2 The Bands of Mourning 3/3

Finished The Autumn Republic bringing the total to two series completed and four brought up to date since the challenge started.

Finished A Conjuring of Light and the Shades of Magic series. I almost quit this after book one which had just enough to keep me going but books 2 and 3 were quite good.

I'm reading Conjuring this month.

Farseer 3/3 Assassin's Quest

Finished my 4th of the challenge.

Divine Cities (2/2, 3 expected) City of Blades

3rd book due out in May.

Monty: For the last time man it's a stormwall heavily fortified on a beach head called Normandy.

Then show him attacking a Panzer with serpent's-breath screaming some inane crap about priests or something else in a Monty Python style of flesh wound.

ASOIAF 5/5 A Dance with Dragons is up to date after reading the first 4 books years ago.

The Price of Spring Long Price Quartet 4/4 is completed series number ten for the challenge.

What did you think of it? I was told it was awful but I thought it was alright. I enjoyed the Long Price.

I liked Calamity. I had heard the same but really I thought it was consistent with Steelheart and Firefight. I love Long Price. One of the my top 5 series ever.

I think people were imagining something mind blowing along the lines of Mistborn... but I mean it's not Mistborn, and it's YA. I thought it was decent enough!

I agree with Margret on why and to be honest I think Mistborn is a bit overrated in the big scope of things. I loved era one but era two while funny isn't really all that mind-blowing either.

And here I love Era 2. It's right up my alley
