ana darcy (anadarcy) | 26 comments I will try to use this post to "control" my reading and reviews.
I have read about Anji's spreadsheet and it looks too sophisticated for me as I use too many spreadsheets in my school and I think those will be enough ;)
I cannot wait!

ana darcy (anadarcy) | 26 comments Although we are on an Austenesque lovers group, one of my challenges for this year is to read other kind of books :S
I think it is also important from time to time to empty a tiny bit my mind of Darcys and Wentworths hehehe
Does anyone have this problem as well?

Kasia Burlakoff | 53 comments Good luck Ana! We will see if Darcy and Wentworth will let you go. ;)

Mary | 709 comments I couldn't agree with you more!!

I can only read a certain amount of JAFF then,I hate to admit it,but I grow very tired of the characters to the point where I feel that I no longer care about them.Shock horror!

So I go off in a tangent, read a handful of crime books/thrillers and then happily go back to P&P variations, enthusiastically looking forward to reuniting with Lizzy and Darcy!

I totally understand your feelings. I tend to alternate between P&P and other jaff or read modern in between era...

Thank you, Kasia! They are very persuasive!

Silver Thistle (silverthistle) Good luck with your challenge! I love so many genres that I'm going to have a tough time juggling them all. I'm new to JAFF so it's all I'm reading at the moment but I expect that a few months from now others will slip back in.

OMG - you have to believe it....

ana darcy (anadarcy) | 26 comments Barb, sorry for not reading you before.

I totally agree... you really have to believe it and have a strong will (similar to Lady C.) ;)

I am doing fine so far, not all my books have been P&P related. I have even read something that was not Jane Austen related!!!

Sheila Majczan (sheilalmajczan) | 1301 comments And I just read a variation on North and South - as long as the readers are happy - no one is commenting to condemn books selected! Just enjoy what you select.

You are totally right!!
What variation have you read? I recommend you Nicole Clarkston.
