I can't explain what about
by Tiffany D. Jackson makes it fit this list. For a full review (with the spoilers roped off) you can go check out my review on my Goodreads page.
This is a binge-worthy book.

I'm really looking forward to this one! Not only does it address contemporary issues, but the reviews seems to be primarily made up of people typing in ALL CAPS or bold to emphasize their enthusiasm.

I read And the Trees Crept In as part of a volunteer review and I, at first, wondered why I had gotten myself into such a thing as I'm a person who spooks easily and this is a very creepy book.
Not only do you have snakes jumping out of toilets, you have something haunting the woods/house. But what is it? Is it even real? Can we trust the narrator? Since the book made this category, the answer is clearly "no," but which parts are real? Which is a figment of her imagination? Which parts will make you want to clutch a nearby teddy bear (hint: it's every part)?
You'll have to take a peek at the book to find out!
Dawn Kurtagich is my bestie lol. I cannot wait for more of her horror-style YA!
I'm thinking you will enjoy Allegedly. It's definitely discussion and emotion worthy!
