a book you bought on a trip

This is a fitting place to put . I bought this when my friend and I went to the Cambridge Teen Author Fest. This was an awesome event. It's where I met Victoria Schwab, Jeff Zentner, Roshani Chokshi, and so many other brilliant people. Destiny Soria was also there and selling her book, one week in advance. So, I bought a copy.

This was a really neat book with a new use for magic. But, for me, it was also really slow moving. I gave it til around page 100 (50 more than I usually do for YA) before I began skimming to find out what happens. I wish I liked it more.
