2017, year of the fairytale discussion

I am now going to start with my first cinderella retelling and I am going to start off with the selection. Anyone else read this one yet? Or is reading it?

I finished this book last night and I thought it was highly enjoyable! At first I thought it would be very predictable but then things changed up a bit and now I am really looking forward to the rest of the series
As for the cinderella retelling; I do see the comparisons in the beautiful deesses and the hansome prince that is looking for a princes. But it didn't have the same feel to it as cinderella did and the main character is so different in the way she acts.
