I was really confused why she introduced these characters at the end of the series! Then someone said it was for tda and I was so happy

Look forward to see emma and jules again in TDA, they had been so amazing, and I totally ship them, and I am feeling so sad for them.

the clues left in COHF seems promising.

I know... I can't wait more to see Enma and Jules as Parabatai and then falling in love for each other knowing that they can't! And actually in CoHF Emma realize that...

I know right, they're so shippable. As Julian and Emma discuss being Parabatai, I'm like no no no, because I ship them more than I probably should.

Jem and Tessa are so cute in COHF!! But there's this one part where they talk about Will, and omg, HEARTBREAKING

Already I know Emma will be the new Jace (in a weird female kind of way with her fearlessness) and Julian is gonna be kind of like a Tessa/Clary kind of character with his calmer nature. To say I'm going to die over this new series is the world's biggest understatement.

I'm looking forward to Tessa and Jem playing a bigger role in TDA which I believe was hinted at by the fact they are moving to LA.

Also where does it say that parabatai can't be romantically involved? A lot of people seem to know this and I'm wondering how

So that way we have another forbidden romance. This time between Emma and Jules. I can see it being resolved over the trilogy and then Simon and Isabelle taking advantage over the precedent set and becoming parabatai myself.

I thought maybe him and clary would become parabatai after/If Simon became a shadowhunter.

I don't think the precedent would help, given that TDA is set 5 years after TMI, and you're only allowed to become parabatai before you're 18... Clary and Simon as parabatai sounds awesome though. :)

Oh my God! Yes! Simon and Clary as Parabatai would be great!
I'm so excited for Jules and Emma to fall in love for each other, because you know the forbidden is good and adds some spark of interest to the book... Also they are going to need to keep it in secret, but when someone of the Clave finds out...it's not going to be pretty, but it's okay. They are going to fight for their love!

Can someone please remind me what photo Emma saw of jace and clary? They were outside the office? Julian said she would be in one someday. But i just can not remember what jace and clary were doing in the photo and it is eating at my mind.

Nina that's a good point. I must admit I never considered Simon and Clary as parabatai but it makes a lot more sense.

Yup that's the one. But it didn't actually go into detail about the exact specifics. Just a blond man and a red headed woman

They would be perfect parabatai! And with Sizzy I was nervous but at the end of CoHF when they were dancing I got so excited lol

I know! I couldn't see the book through my tears and then he was all gone and then the epilogue stared and I was like: I hope this isn't some kind of "we have lo let him go" thing, because if that was going to happen, I don't know what I was going to do next!
And them Clary left and I read the name of the band and I remember yell "Clary come back he hasn't forget everything!" And I felt so happy for Isabelle, because she needed that and Magnus do what he always do: Save the day! And I love him so much for that!

And when she met Tessa, and when Jem met Emma, I soooooooo wanted them to confess they're related!!!!!!! I have to know what happens when they tell!

agreed they are so awesome together. Cassandra Clare does such a good job making vivid lifelike characters that I can't ewait to see how she does these two! They seem really awesome!

When they mentioned that parabatai couldn't be romantically involved I knew Cassandra was gonna torture us like this T^T lel can't wait
