I've been on a re-read of the series Sheila and am halfway through Echo in the Bone. Written in My Own Heart's Blood is the one I haven't read yet so I'm looking forward to that. Sooner rather than later.

Well, maybe we can talk about it together when we have both read it. Her books are so long it is impossible to mention even half of the highlights in a reviews.

Reviews never do the series justice, there's just too much going to cover it all. I've been reading and re-reading them for over 20 years and never tire of them.

My favorite scene (one I go back to just to read when I want some solid romance) is the reunion after 20 years as she comes into the print shop and he losses consciousness. "May I kiss you?"

That's one of my very favourite scenes too! Even though I know it doesn't exist I've taken my husband to Edinburgh on more than one occasion to check all the closes to try and find his print shop or Carfax Close :P
