Yes, 2017 year long challenge. Books finished anytime in 2017, January 1st to Dec 31st, 2017.

Going to try this one as well as there are so many new series I want to try and new authors whose books I have bought, but haven't started to read yet!

Going for 25 for now, but may upgrade this at some point depending on how many books there are in the series.

Ok, as of right now, I have the following:

4 - New Series AND New Author = Six Books total right now
- 3 book series in a box set
- First in series, only book so far
- First in series, only book so far.
- First in series, of a trilogy!

This counts, right? I don't have to go separating them?

You only can count books once, is that what you meant? Even if they are a New Author and New Series, it only counts one. With series you started this year, I would say that any books in the new series can be counted since it is a new to you series. So if you read the first of the trilogy and love it and read all 3, it counts as 3.

has anyone read the shade books by Bella Forrest? They are really good. she also has other series too. 2 new fantasy series which I'm yet to read.

Quite a few of my GRs friends seem to have read and enjoyed it. It is YA so unless there is something like several recommends, I would put it on my TBR.

Great. I just saw that you read through the IMP series by Dunbar. It is a new series for me that I absolute tore through. I even ended up reading the spin off novels of Raphael and Gabriel. I thought I would not like Gabriel's as well as Raphael's but I actually liked it better. &

I also read Dar's story , in a compilation that I luckily snapped up at 99 cents. Dar's book was fun too.

I didn't really like the spin off Half-breed series as much though.

10: Aimee Juarez (mystical historical romance) the society for psychical studies series. I've read book 1 the sitting room & look forward to book 2 (waiting for her to write it:)

Hi Amyiw, sorry for the delay in getting back but not been online on GR for a few months as work has been so busy which it still is but want to update all the books/series that I have read. I find Debra Dunbar so funny and love her Imp series. I have all the other offshoot books too but not had a chance to read them so will be on my TBR list for next year. I have read the 1st in the Half-Breed series not made up my mind whether I liked it or not yet lol.

I've updated and got 49 new authors and 27 new series old authors. I wonder if I'll get the 1 book for an even 50. I don't have any on my TBR in the next week, so we will see. I'm at 250+ books for the year so about 20% of my reading.
