S. Thomas (sshanethomas) | 3 comments A Paleolithic Fable is a High Fantasy set in Earth’s middle Stone Age. I became inspired by archeological evidence that suggests modern humans coexisted with their hominin cousins, the Neanderthals, Homo Floresiensis, Homo Erectus, and Homo Heidelbergensis. Our ancestors actually lived in a Middle Earth of sorts!

The novel leans on lifestyles from documented “Modern Stone Age” people, draws in other homins from cryptozoology, and incorporates systems of magic based upon some of humanity’s earliest spiritual beliefs. It is also an exploration on the development of human conscious awareness inspired by the theories of Julian Jaynes.

Don’t let all the academic stuff dissuade you! It reads like a YA adventure.

S. Thomas (sshanethomas) | 3 comments Hello again Rishit!

I must apologize once again for a lack of paperbacks to send out for review. I sent my last ten away in a Goodreads giveaway last month. As with my Science Fiction title, Distant Origins, I would be happy to share give you a .mobi or .epub version of the book.

Are you interested?

Cheers,
Shane
