Has anyone read The Last Unicorn? I've been meaning to read it, and I think it's from the titular unicorn's perspective?

I second The Book Thief recommendation--- definitely worth a read.

I read The Last Unicorn, it is from the unicorn's perspective. It was a very good book. If you saw the cartoon adaptation that was made in the 80's, it is very close to the novel.

I love Kiera Cass! I read her Selection books as last years something you wouldn't normally read. Then got hooked. Then got another friend hooked.
Anyways it was super cute.

A Dog's Purpose by Bruce Cameron fits perfectly. It is written in the first person with the dog as the narrator. It is also a lovely book, particularly if you are a dog person.

This sounds great. We almost went to see the movie this weekend and I really wanted to read the book first, but then my 7 yr old son did not really want to see it, so we saw "Sing" instead..
The book just became available on Overdrive, so after finishing what I'm currently reading, I'll probably Pick up "A Dog's Purpose".

I am sure not just myself, but others would like some suggestions. I prefer light. I do not mind children's books, or YA. I read all genres.
