He has jet blue eyes that seem to perfectly match his blonde hair that carry hints of dark brown near the roots. Adam almost always keep a clean shave, however his appearance will be the last thing in his mind once zombies begin to appear. His beard does not completely hide his chiseled jaw line while his Adam's apple remains prominent as ever. Adam does not have any tattoos although he carries a scar from a bullet wound on the right side of his abdomen. Built and charming, standing at a reasonable 5'9.

{Personality} Persistent and loyal, he is realistic in the choices that must be made. He never forgets things, reliable and very observant. However, he can be sarcastic at times with a hint of a quarrelsome nature.
{Strengths} Thinks quickly when under pressure, self sufficient and uses the tools around him to their Utmost potential, athletic and skilled with weaponry.
{Weaknesses} Empathetic, Argumentative, Risk Taker

{History}
Adam was born to Justin and Lilly Mueller in Santa Barbara, California. His father and mother were both lawyers, they met each other in university and married shortly after. The pregnancy was planned, the house bought and furnished, baby room decorated and name picked out from the beginning. They lived happily together, in a wealthy home, but as work started to pile up for the parents, they became less interested in their son and more addicted to the cases that built up like mountains on their desk. One would think that Adam felt alone, ignored and forgotten in this family but he spent all his young life into teenage years rolling his toy cars around their office desk and chairs. Consciously hearing the words 'criminal, theft, murder, innocent, victim, law, justice, defend.' The list of words circulated little Adam's mind, a tune he became familiar with as he grew up.

Despite the critical row his parents played in the law, Adam had a lot of free time on his hands and without any parental supervision to dictate his actions. He became close friends with a boy named Matt Jundson at the start of his freshman year in high school. The two had homeroom with each other, exchanged numbers quickly and Adam was enticed by the aspect of partying, being around pretty girls, getting to know more people his age and just plain out doing something out of his comfort zone. Right after his first party, how could he forget, he had attended the event held at an upperclassmans home where he was introduced to drinking. Adam's good looks and quirky personality had girls tagging beside him and the music resonating through the house made the party so exciting, he didnt stop at just one. All throughout highschool he attended house parties, beach side bonfires and somewhere in his memory an event of skinny dipping. He started to steal from others when he turned eighteen in his final year of school. His friend Matt was right there beside him, teaching him certain techniques, how to pick a lock, fire a gun that had been stolen from Matt's dad and how to hot wire a car. Adam, Matt, along with a couple of other guys stole a Mercedes-benz from outside of a club that had been parked out on the street. The guys went down to the beach, riding in their new car and started to call up everyone they knew to throw a party, as well as take out their little joy ride for more spins. As the party commenced, as people started to occupy the beach no one noticed a man with two other guys at his sides walking in, univited and unannounced. One of those men had seen Matt stealing their vehicle and with a metal bar in hand, were prepared to punish him for it. The blow was quick and unexpected, the rod was swung so hard, hitting the back of Matt's neck the it shattered his skull, causing profuse bleeding to occur. Adam was not near when it happened, he suddenly saw Matt fall to his knees, blood trickling down from his face. He ran over quickly, pushing the crowd outside, the murderers had fled the scene, and Adam cradled his dead friend in his arms, shouting under his intense crying for anyone to call 911. The ambulence arrived, Matt taken away in a stretcher, people were arrested for underage drinking and...all the parties, the stealing, the excessive drinking stopped from then on.

After going home from that night, he continously heard the news report the incident. The murderer who had killed Matt was never found, charges could not be pressed. Adam finished his senior year of high school in a dull unemotional state, day after day he heard the same tone of words coming from within his parents office. 'Prosecute, capture, evidence, defend, crime, law, victim, police.' As he sat on the stairs of their two story household that's when it dawned on Adam, he couldn't sit by and allow for murder to continuously happen, for crime to gravitate around cities without punishment. He enrolled into the police academy despite his parents wishes for him to become a lawyer and suffered under intensive training and rehabilitation of his mind.

He completed the training with top marks and transferred over to Seattle at the age of twenty four. He left his parents back in California but hardly had time to keep in contact with them after he started his first job. The first couple of years were difficult, case after case, filling out paperwork, jumping into action at a moments notice, losing members of the team to injury or in one case, death. All these things he experianced which made him only grow more skilled, react quicker to situations, think of solid plans and sometimes risks he took were what completed the mission. The men and women on the team made it easy for Adam to settle in, open up to his confident, silly, expressive and outgoing side. He still took his work seriously but allowed time to relax and on occassion enjoy a couple of fun dates with with women, although he never got into a serious relationship with any of them. Somehow, in the back of his mind, he refused to get too close, too personal with anyone for fear of losing them.

In the start of a new year however, Katherine Sophia Raleigh entered into the department. Adam's first impressions of her were uptight, serious, dedicated as well as attractive and mysterious. He had tried to crack a simple joke in her direction but she found the situation unamusing in the instance that they were looking over a drug smuggling case. He had already put it in his mind that this woman only thought of work and nothing else. It just so happened however that the Seattle Police Department Chief scheduled them to be partners. It was a horrible start at first, rule after rule followed Kate, it was 'no eating in the police car,' 'no talking with a mouth full' it was addressing her only in a proffesional manner and nothing beyond that. Adam however was soon impressed by Kate's work ethic, skill in shooting, intellectual mind and passion for her work. Case after case was solved, wanted men were found and jailed, and Kate and Adam, despite their differences worked excellently well with each other.

In the short time, Kate was still under probation, ready to fully be employed in the department at the end of the week. Suddenly, Adam was called into the chief's office, a misreport had been sent to the court, stating the illegal use of drugs to be under the amount that the cartel had actually been sending out. Adam knew what had happened, Kate had been in charge of sending in that information, it was a simple typo, a simple mistake but it had cost them the court ruling. Adam knew what would happen, discharge of her postion, he didn’t want that, he wanted her to stay. He took full blame for the report and addressed it to Kate himself so that she wasn't caught off guard to the information. She had asked why, wanted an explanation but Adam refused to admit to her that he didnt want to see her go, he didn’t want his partner to be fired, she didn’t deserve that. The subject was dropped neither one spoke of it again, Kate was fully instated to the department the week after. A mutual respect for one another followed after that incident, their car rides were more pleasant, their morning breakfast at the diner was coupled with pleasant conversation and playful tones. Teasing ensued when the mention of women around Adam was brought into the conversation, however Adam never sensed a hint of jealousy in her tone. All the while they enjoyed each other's company and worked impressively well with each other for the next couple of years.

In their third year of being partners, they underwent a human trafficking investigation that had been the core of their restlessness and hidden operatives for months now. Finally they had pinpointed the exact location of the people running the trafficking. Followed by fifteen other men, several including SWAT and FBI, they stormed the location. Adam's and Kate's mission was to find the man named Rondin Apelluc, take him alive and into custody. They spotted him quickly, running out the back of the warehouse with his brother. They caught up to the brother within a matter of minutes, they had cornered him at the docks near the warehouse. As Kate arrested the man, putting him in handcuffs Adam surveyed the surrounding. He noticed the click of the gun too late, he couldnt fire fast enough and the bullet from Rondin's gun punctured his abdomen. Another gun fire followed, he looked up through clouded eyes to see Kate with her gun up, pointed at Rondin who was now laying on the floor. Kate's worried voice kept Adam awake, as he focused on the sound, the touch of her hand on his cheek and the applied pressure she was putting on his right side, he tried to ignore the pain. Ambulences arrived and after a quick surgery, Adam was bed ridden for a few months in order to recover. In that time he frequently saw Kate, she visited his house on SW Holden Street, updating him on events, paper work, and cases. Even picking up the occasional prescribed medicine and delivering it to him. In that time, Adam allowed himself to tell Kate about the incident of his friend Matt dieing. She had listened intently to each word, never teasing him, never putting in a word of advice which meant a great deal to him. Thank you, he had told her the day he was allowed to properly return to work after he had fully recovered. Once he returned to work, Kate and Adam went back to working on cases in Seattle and the surrounding Washington area. Unaware, uninformed and unprepared for the news to follow of the outbreak, and the chaos to begin within the city.

Jack is a cold, calculating and devious individual with a deep running nasty streak and a propensity for violent outbursts. Known for his arrogant demeanour and naturally controlling personality, Jack Linden is certainly someone to avoid if it can be helped. Though charismatic and outwardly charming, Jack has a number of deep seated issues and certainly isn't afraid to resort to physical violence. He's particularly manipulative and knows how to get what he wants, often using fear as a tactic to persuade others into seeing things his way. Jack isn't one to cross, he's dangerous and remorse isn't high on the list of traits he possesses, murder and foul play certainly aren't beyond him if his past is anything to go by. He's someone that naturally draws the attention in the room and demands the respect of those around him. Jack carries himself with a certain menace, the kind of presence that makes people shrink in their seats and invokes fear just by being in his vicinity.

He's cruel and enjoys playing games, ever ready for a challenge and always taking joy in seeing others struggle. Jack is highly competitive and will never turn down an opportunity to gamble or fight, his obsession with being top dog is one that consumes him entirely. Though a truly frightening individual Jack is not beyond the realms of human emotions, he can be jealous and impulsive, quick to act without considering the consequences. He's driven and ambitious, always reaching for the next best thing and willing to throw anyone under the bus to get there. The idea of power and control is something that consumes him, he takes pride in his own ability to garner respect and the hold he can have over other people. Those looking to change him will only be greeted by failure, he's unwilling to change, this person you see here is Jack in his entirety, cold, unflinching and downright awful.

Hɪsᴛᴏʀʏ
Jack grew up in a tiny, matchbox house in Walker Country, Alabama the second of two kids, born to John and Naomi Linden. The house was built on the outskirts of the city of Jasper, a crumbling, dilapidated little thing with peeling paint and overgrown lawns. Raised solely by their mother, after John's untimely death in a hit and run accident, brother's Jack and Ricky didn't exactly have the best start in life. Their mother loved them dearly, but the family was poor and on some days it was a struggle to get food on the table. Naomi worked two jobs which often meant Jack and Ricky would be left alone for hours at a time. Days passed where Naomi scarcely ate, just so she could provide enough for her two boys. Through all the hardship the small family endured, Naomi never grew to resent her sons, even when they cried and complained or kept her awake through the night.

For most of their childhood Jack and Ricky were known to be troublemakers, they were in and out of school, often playing truant or trespassing on farming land. It was a wonder neither of them were taken away in those early years, with little supervision they ran wild, causing chaos wherever they went. Naomi disciplined them when she could, but again whilst she was away at work there was little that could be done to keep the two boys occupied. They might have continued their wild ways if it weren't for Naomi's tragic diagnosis the following winter. She was ill, and it was terminal. A sombre tone settled over the family and both Jack and Ricky resigned themselves to spending as much time with Naomi as they could. They stopped misbehaving, for those few short months they were doting and kind, sweet-natured kids.

Naomi passed away a year later when Ricky was thirteen and Jack was nine. Both boy were moved out of Jasper to stay with a family in Huntsville, two more kids in a family of five. Neither of them took to the new housing particularly well, Jack hated his foster siblings and Ricky had raging arguments with both the parents. They didn't spend much time at home, choosing to stay away when they could or bunk with friends back in Jasper. The raucous behaviour returned soon after, both boys rebelling in the most outrageous ways they could manage. Vandalism, petty theft and arson, joined a growing list of what were now criminal activities. On more than one occasion Ricky was brought back to the house in a police car, and less than a year later he decided not to come back at all. Ricky moved in with friends back in Jasper, leaving Jack to remain in the foster home.

With Ricky now living away, Jack's behaviour improved slightly, at least enough to get him through school, though that wasn't without it's problems. He threw parties, drank alcohol, dabbled in recreational drugs and at the age of sixteen, got a girl in his class pregnant. She decided not to keep the baby, but for Jack's foster parents that was the last straw. He moved out that Summer and followed Ricky back to Walker County. Ricky had found a place and invited Jack to stay with him. It was a shabby apartment he shared with three others, grimy and small, but the rent was cheap and the others weren't so bad. Ricky was holding down a job at a local bar and selling weed on the side - as for the other three Jack never knew exactly what they did and for the most part he was glad he didn't. Having made it through school Jack managed to get a stock taking job at a local trade company, working four days a week and using his free day to help Ricky out at the bar.

For the first time in their lives the two boys actually had enough money to take care of themselves and less than a year later they'd moved into their own place. The rent was more expensive granted, but the flat was in a nice part of town and with Jack's promotion they were able to turn the place into a real home. Several months down the line and opportunity came knocking, some uptown business man named Alistair Jones wanted to employ Jack to work with him at his company. The job was well paid, more pressure than Jack was used to but nothing that he couldn't handle. He accepted the offer there and then. The work took Jack further than he could have imagined, to offshore locations and swanky high-rise parties, he brushed shoulders with local celebrities, met politicians and huge company owners. Alistair showered him in with praise, showed off his new prodigy at every opportunity and quite quickly Jack's poor Alabama past was swept beneath the rug.

With the money he earned, Jack helped Ricky to purchase a stake in the bar he worked at. Ricky had big dreams of one day owning the whole place, but would never have let Jack buy it for him. Linden Brother's was what he wanted to call it, a smart little place that would serve pretentious, over-priced drinks to the big city swine like Alistair. Jack used to scoff at the notion, but knew deep down he'd be behind Ricky every step of the way. Now into their twenties both brothers were more successful than they ever could have imagined. Ricky was waiting for the bar owner to retire so he could buy him out, and Jack was well embedded in Alistair's inner circle. For Jack though, things within Alistair's business had taken a darker turn. Behind the scenes there was scandal and criminal activity, whispers of drug cartels and blackmailing high profile politicians. But Jack was earning more money than he'd ever had in his life, and he wasn't about to give that up.

Swept deeper into Alistair's misdoings Jack found himself trafficking drugs, threatening politicians and committing fraud. He was conning innocent people out of thousands of pounds, destroying families and ruining lives. It didn't take him long to tire of it all. Less than a year later and he was done, bored of looking over his shoulder and fighting his colleagues every step of the way. Jack quit, but knew he couldn't survive on the outside world, not without the money. In a snap, stupid decision he carried out a con on Alistair himself, stealing 2 million dollars in the process. He fled, back home to Walker County. And for several months Jack was idiotic enough to believe he'd gotten away with it, that was until he saw the bar - burned to the ground with Ricky still inside. Alistair got in contact after that, threatened to hurt more people if Jack didn't hand the money over. But Jack knew there was no one else for Alistair to find, and blinded by anger and grief he went after the business man himself.

Jack agreed to meet him on the proviso it was alone in a place of his choosing. They met at an old warehouse on the outskirts of Huntsville where Jack took the 2 million and a gun he'd bought from a nearby dealer. Alistair barely got two words out before Jack shot him in the stomach, he made the man admit to what he'd done, admit to killing Ricky. And the moment the admission left his lips Jack shot Alistair again, killing him with two bullets to the chest. Jack left the scene as quickly as he could, disappearing into the night. Several weeks later he arrived in Seattle, a cold individual with no remorse for what he'd done. He settled down in the city and with the money he'd stolen, Jack built the bar that Ricky had always dreamed of. He's lived in the city ever since, running the bar and trying to avoid the threads of his past, unfortunately for Jack though, the past has a funny way of catching up.

[ 23 · x.iii × homme · pansexual × seattle, washington · chef ]
JOSIAH IS PERFECTLY AWARE OF the fact that a good number of people would drop what they're doing just to stare at his face. He's seen it happen before when he worked in a diner. Sure, the dreads had people thinking he was cute, but once he cut his hair, things changed. And he knew it. Being confident about his looks is one thing, but being confident because of his looks is a whole other ballpark he doesn't play in. He knows his skills and his limitations as well as the next person and his eyes will always be on the prize: taking care of what matters. Forgive him if he just so happens to flaunt the bounties of his genetics in the process, though. He should probably keep that in check, honestly.

All work and no play makes Josiah a dull boy, and he's mostly work. He doesn't take much chance with frivolous things, and if he's not at work, he's still doing some kind of work. Bills need to be paid, after all. He's not exactly the head chef, even if he does work in some fancy restaurant. The salary he makes just doesn't cut it. And aside from that, cooking is fun. Who's to tell him he can't do what he loves as work and still wanna do it when he gets home? It's true that he takes a lot of tings too seriously, like that time he flipped out when Anais skinned her knee ( to be fair, he was like thirteen and left to babysit so, of course he'd be freaking out ). He doesn't, though, take everything seriously.

He's been told he should fix his open door policy. His lovers come and go whenever he or they want, and he's never lied about it. Being exclusive isn't part of the deal with him. Sure, he might do nice things and make them feel special but it isn't any different from him taking care of customers in the restaurant or just being a generally decent human being. Jos will always be sure to clarify that he is not in a relationship with everyone. It's probably the one fear he has, aside from dying. People can disappoint you. Or worse, they can simply leave you without rhyme or reason, or for a reason that hurts you more than anything. So, forgive him for not being so big on relationships. He's had his fair share of angry lovers when they find out they're "not the only one". Jos, of course, isn't bothered by this.
LIFE WAS GREAT, LIFE WAS good, and then his parents got themselves arrested. The family owned a bakery--nothing big or grand, but enough to get by and be recognized a little bit--but they used it as a front. Their true intention was securing false documentation for the rest of their scattered relatives but that required favors to be done that snowballed into a full on laundering scheme for some not so great people. Once those people fell, so did Josiah's parents. Every good thing he'd thought of them went out the window as a nine-year old Josiah watched them being shoved into cop cars. They didn't look apologetic or remorseful. They went with their heads held high, arguing that they had done nothing wrong. He's pretty sure the letters he never read all said the same thing despite the obvious.

He was then left in the care of his eldest sister with the rest of his siblings--him being one of two boys. Things weren't always smooth sailing, but they made it work. He had high hopes for them getting by, considering she could have carried the bakery forward through the scandal. But she didn't. Instead, she sold it to take care of the family. Which was quite alright with him, considering the reason she did it. But her reasons for things began to change. Her late nights were consumed by boyfriends rather than work and the bills were going unpaid. It got to the point where the second eldest child started working a second job to keep up.

By the time he was thirteen, his eldest sister had thoroughly separated herself from the family. She ran off, taking money from the joint savings box. The second oldest had already quit school in favor of working more shifts. It was supposed to be a temporary thing, but now it was needed for longer than they had intended. Jos got his first job in a food truck that summer, helping out as best he could. And the months ticked on until it was a year since their eldest sister had left. His sister--the one who dropped all her dreams--was fed up. It had been her final year in high school. Somewhere along the way, she'd met someone either too eager or just stupid enough to want to marry her. Without so much as a final look at her siblings, she left. At least she didn't take everything they'd saved up. He heard she finished up school and got into a fairly nice college with her husband's money. Good for her.

This left Josiah to be the breadwinner. What was a second child dropping everything to take care of the ones too young to do so? His sisters hadn't factored in that he would be the one taking everything upon himself. He followed suit and quit school, almost to high school and having to give it up. He took a few odd jobs, adding each new experience to his resume. He soon had more work experience than a college kid, and that worked in his favor in some places. One diner job after the other and he used that pretty face of his for extra tips. And he worked his ass off. But he wasn't about to abandon his family the way his sisters had before him. Like his parents had. This is probably what has influenced his pseudo-relationships and habits, if his younger siblings have anything to say about it.

And that's what landed him in three different chef gigs. One at a fancy restaurant that seems to disapprove of his nose piercing, another as a fry cook in a diner, and the last being one and off for a catering company. He didn't exactly see any of this in his life aspirations.

His woredrobe consists of hoodies, jackets, tshirts, jeans and converse, anything comfortable is his style of dress. He doesn’t like the attention, prefers to stay out of crowds and is a fan of reading books about war. He keeps in little contact with his family and that summarizes his relationships as well. {Strengths} Computers, cyber and security hacking, knows how to shoot a gun, informative, capable of keeping secrets
{Weaknesses} Out of practice with guns, unathletic, Passive aggressive, and slightly mischievous

{History}
Oliver was born in the United Kingdom, followed by his sister, Anne six years later. He was put into a violin class at the age of 8 and it was put upon him that he would go onto studying music. Oliver's grandfather had been a very talented musician, and having been named after his father's father, it was only right that he would follow in his foot steps. He continued to take lessons for two years, meanwhile focusing on his mother's home school lessons that she planned out for her children. On his way to his music class, one early winter morning, he stopped to notice a light flickering on and off from within a shop window. The shop belonged to Mr. Tabbury, an older man, in his sixties, with a reputation for being a little lost in the head. He had lost his wife five years ago, but that wasn't the reason at all for Mr. Taburry's strange nature. No one knew the reason why, some people blamed it on his age, others said it was because he was a veteran and tried to forget the experiance of War World II. But, whatever the reason, the repeadetly glowing and then fading light attracted Oliver to walk into the shop. Oliver had barely grown tall enough to see over the counter and stared intently as Mr. Tabbury fiddled with wires. Conversation commenced with the boy's arrival to Mr. Tabbury's shop of tools and miscellaneous items. Oliver was full of questions, asking about the fading light he was working on, asking what happened to his wife, then proceeding to ask Oliver about the war. It turned out that Mr. Taburry was wiring the shop's eletricity panel, it had gone out after a storm the day before. The young man's friendly attitude toward the old shop owner came pleasantly welcomed. No one had cared to know anything about the old man, but here was a boy, ready to learn, explore and dive into Mr. Taburry's life.

Oliver skipped his music lesson that day, and for many days to come. Often visiting Mr. Taburry's shop, ready to hear about how in the war, Mr. Taburry was a technician and handled secret messages that needed to be sent back and forth. Ben helped with the shop, cleaning, organizing and picking up things the shop owner would forget at times. Oliver looked forward to the fascinating, daring and trivial stories that he heard every day. His parents soon found out about Oliver skipping class but he refused to go back and take lessons. After days of arguing, Oliver's parents gave up on his musical carrier, and allowed him to continue going to the shop.

As Oliver grew up, the stories Mr. Taburry told began to get longer, more detailed and things he hid to the ten year old boy before, he now spoke to the seventeen year old Oliver. He heard about the deaths of war, prisoners, the struggle, the escape, the tears and the pain. Oliver learned about Mr. Taburry's work he had performed and his curiosity grew stronger. At Oliver's request to be taught what Mr. Taburry knew, he began to learn about decoding, encrypting, how to hide files, intercede an enemies information, as well as anything else he could find and learn about. Oliver graduated highschool in his hometown and left for college to study computer engineering, all the while he expanded his skills into hacking into different systems. At first it was small things, stealing information from his sister's phone, then it was diving into his father's computer which was always locked with a password and from then on he just grew in his skill.

Oliver graduated college at twenty one years old and returned back to his hometown just in time for Mr. Taburry's funeral. In his will, he left the majority of his belongings, including the old shop to Oliver. As Oliver wandered through the old shop, reminiscing of the past, he came across a hidden box with secured files that his old friend never shared with him, old goverment files. His curiosity couldn't hold him back, with the new information he dived into trying to hack into the goverment's system. He suceeded after multiple chaotic attempts and searched through information for days, until, there was a knock at the shop's door. FBI agents had found Oliver, arrested him and took him in for questioning. Upon further investigation, after Oliver had revealed the majority of his past and how he had managed to hack into their information, he was offered one of two choices, eaither go to jail for a pending matter of twenty to thirty years or, work for the United States government.

The next month, Oliver was on a plane to Washington DC, and once there he was fully briefed on the information and requirements he needed to fufill. He was then transferred to Seattle, Washington, an inconspicuous location, and has begun to work for the government in several matters including security, classified information and cyber espionage. He was trained for several months with the FBI in order to learn additional information including how to shoot a gun for his protection, rather for the protection of the government in the event that he was in danger of being captured due to the information he knows. Four years has passed since his arrest back in England and now he lives everyday withholding secrets and using his skills he learned over the years.

{Occupation} Works for the government as a hacker, visits City Hall often to recieve updated information on his work.
{Place of Residence} Currently living in Seattle, Washington, goverment provided him with the apartment he is currently living in. 737 Olive Way Apt. 2304 Seattle, Washinton

berkeley TANNER
ley ━━━━━━

[ 18 · xi.iv × homme · bisexual × seattle, washington · student ]
LEY IS ONE OF THOSE guys that tends to get shoved into lockers in high school. He doesn't think it's fun, but he doesn't think it matters much, either. Four years is all it is. But he's been going through it since middle school. Like he's the kid that just never had it in him to rebel. He surrenders easily, giving in the moment things get bad. He's not exactly the hero type, which could be why he never had the confidence to form much an identity outside of being a "nerd" to everyone around him. He goes with the flow because it's the easier thing to do. It's like obeying, but not really. He's a good kid, really, but he just doesn't have any backbone.

Let it be known, though, that Berkeley does have his own opinions. It's just not likely that he'll voice any of them. He has this fear that people will think differently of him if his opinions don't match up with theirs. He thinks they'd actively go out of their way to ignore him more than they usually do, and that scares him shitless. Even if the only interaction he has with these people is a few snide comments made his way, it's interaction no less. Ley has never been good with talking to people, either, so this little bit of interaction helps. Sure, he can talk to people just fine if he's known them for a while, but even knowing some of these kids since they were in kindergarten doesn't help him in talking to them. They've changed just as much as he has, and thus the interacting is vastly different.

Of all the terrible things to happen to Berkeley, he fell in love. More like plummeted at the optimal angle to end up with him crashing through to the depths of hell. So in love it physically hurts to look at her. So in love, he's pretty sure he's going crazy. He has all the access to her he could need to be able to talk to her and he can't tell her how he feels. Why? Because he's known her for about three weeks and it would be really awkward to say he fell in love with her from the minute he saw her. Or maybe it would be too cheesy. Either way, she's out of his league and he's in love.
THE TANNERS ARE A LONG line, and never have they left the state. It's odd, and kinda funny, to tink about. Eiter the kids went to school in the state or they didn't at all. They took up menial jobs and lived in the same neighborhood. I guess you could say that was how they saved money. They also rarely traveled, even when the kids wanted to adamantly. Good ol' Tanners; unmovable and permanent. And Berkeley was one of them. He had no qualms--none that he voiced, anyways--and he found himself as part of the neverending lineage of homebodies.

His life was mundane and that was okay. He liked being ordinary, especially considering everything going on in the world. He could see everywhere from the comfort of his home and room. That, and if Berkeley spoke up, he could risk ruining the norms of his family and throwing them into disarray. Humans aren't very good at adapting to change after years of complacency. He knew that this certainly applied to his family, so he never said a word.

Instead, Berkeley went through the throes of being semi-bullied and tormented by twin siblings that didn't know when to mind their business. He was sure is life would remain uneventful and insignificant--up until the point when he finally left home. Upon learning of the complacency of his parents and fully understanding that it wasn't the way he wanted to live, he began applying to places that weren't what is parents might have wanted for college. He chose places so far he'd need to fly and made coming home a difficult task. He supposed he could get by on a weekly/bi-weekly call basis, but it would still be far enough away to be a real change.

What Ley got instead was a next door neighbor that wasn't old and near their end like the last three had been. This, after all, the optimal place for someone to come and die. No, Cairo was pretty and breathtaking and he'd be damned if he'd admit he had a dream about her that first night she showed up. And then he was being pushed into a friendship she probably didn't want and he was deathly afraid of. Because, as it might be painfully obvious, he's fucking in love with her

florencia ALVES
ren ━━━━━━

[ 21 · vi.xx × homme · bisexual × seattle, washington · student ]
REN, IS WITHOUT A DOUBT, an arrogant little shit. He believes that he could ace whatever he does, and he isn't often wrong. But it's still annoying as hell. He will admit to being only a little arrogant, and then go on to brag about how humble he is. He's terrible, the boy is. But at least he ain't a certain Trump level of bad. He's generally not always an asshole, but he does seem to have little control when it comes to bragging about himself.

He's always been good at picking up on emotions, even when someone might be trying to hide them. Ren has received numerous comments and compliments about it, and has been the basis of a lot of his relationships--which are very healthy, by the way. But while he knows how to deal with certain emotions and identifying them, he doesn't often like to show that he cares. He thinks that those are the type of thhings that should be done without question, without someone needing to say someting. Ren has generally always covered up his good deeds with his arrogance and a bit asshole-like behavior. Because acknowledging he cares opens him up for vulnerabilities that only a few people can really see. So he puffs up his chest and shows off.

Contrary to what people believe upon finding out about his sexuality, Ren is pretty reserved. He's not one to jump into anyone's bed just because he can--trust me, he can. It might seem that way initially, but it's always something else. Being bisexual doesn't make him a slut, it just makes him either gay as hell or straight as hell. And he's fine with either one, be they one day at a time or both at once.
FLORENCIA, DESPITE HIS NAME, WAS born in the US. Screeching like any other newborn, he was birthed on American soil and he would really like for people to stop trying to tell him otherwise. It's possible to move from one country to another and then come back. His parents had thought it would be financially smarter to live with his grandparents in Portugal. Plus, they wouldn't hhave to go through the bullshit of actually raising their kid.

At the age of ten, Ren was packed up and sent to her grandmother Maria. He, to be entirely honest, loved that woman more than his own mother. She wasn't strict with him in the slightest, but he never thought of disobeying her. She was just joy in the purest form. She could make anyone smile if she really wanted to. Much of the time, she spoiled him rotten. Other times, she'd have a whole list of chores for him to do--stuff that he'd actually be able to put to use in is life.

The two of them enjoyed walks around town and lazing in the garden behind her colorful home. He'd watch her cook, turning the vegetables she'd grown into culinary masterpieces. It was like watching magic. But then she grew too old to cook on her own, and they passed their days in the gardens more often than not. By the time he was seventeen, his parents had returned to help with caring for her as her last days drew near. Maria passed away shortly after he'd completed high school. She left everything to him.

He decided to take up the culinary arts, remembering the days he'd watched her cook so eagerly. It was difficult, and has been thus far. An opportunity opened up for him to participate in an exchange program, and he jumped on the offer.

Ben is a calm and patient individual with a good moral grounding and a natural inclination to protect those around him. A good friend and father, he's well liked by his colleagues and highly respected in his working role. Those who know him are aware of his laid back attitude and generally relaxed demeanour. Rarely one to lose his temper, Ben is a good leader and engaging speaker, he's charismatic - a trait used regularly in his work as an architect - and capable of encouraging those around him. He cares a lot, perhaps too much and is especially invested in the lives of his three children. An approachable and friendly individual, nothing is too much trouble for Ben who's always willing to lend a hand. Intelligent and practical, both in his career and outside of the work place, Ben has a particular knack for problem solving and dealing with difficult situations. Able to command respect with very little effort, Ben's naturally authority is one of his most notable traits.

Though clearly a strong and driven individual Ben does have his faults. He struggles often with self doubt and has a tendency to place an exceptional amount of pressure upon himself. Never one to shy away from a challenge, he'll soldier through even if the end goal seems entirely impossible. And Ben certainly isn't afraid to take responsibility when the time calls for it. He's incredibly loyal, especially to his family and his dedication to them is clear in all that he does. He's a hard worker, constantly striving to do his best in order to provide for them all. But Ben will always ensure he makes time for them outside of work, often choosing to use his home office instead of heading into the company building for the day. Ben does have confidence in his own abilities, but does fear not being good enough and this itself is one of his most humbling features.

Hɪsᴛᴏʀʏ
Ben Dwyer grew up in Sacramento, California, the eldest son of local football coach Martin Dwyer and his artist wife Victoria. One of four siblings, Ben was the protective older child, the golden boy and his parent’s first prodigy. From a young age he was pushed to pursue sports and the arts, encouraged to paint and draw, to play football, hockey and race on his school’s track team. He was popular back at school, well known for his easy smile and prowess on the sports field. Ben was the kind of guy who nothing was too much trouble for, who people admired and looked up to. For most of his schooling, football was his main focus, it was all he ever wanted to do and what he wanted to pursue as a professional career. His parents were supportive of his dreams, Ben was certainly good enough and with their encouragement he really started to show his potential. Sadly those dreams crashed and burned after a knee injury kept him off the field for eight months. By the time Ben returned he was out of practice and had already been replaced by a much younger prospective player.

With football off the cards Ben started to pay more attention in school, throwing all of his focus towards an academic career. He’d always been good at drawing, having inherited his mother’s artistic abilities and math was somehow one of the few subjects that made sense to him. It was his careers advisor that tallied up his skill set and suggested architecture. Ben was unsure at first, but after a placement in a small office in Sacramento he gradually warmed up to the idea. The following year he applied to study architecture at University of California Los Angeles. His family were sad to see him go, and for the first few months Ben struggled to settle in, missing them all terribly. That was until he met Madison Bueller.

Madison was the year above, a History major with a bright smile and a wicked sense of humour. For several months Ben toyed with the idea of speaking to her. He made several hopeless attempts, before finally plucking up the courage to ask her out. Madison said yes and less than a month later they were dating. The two of them were inseparable, every moment they had spare they spent together. Madison would talk for hours about her major, her aspirations, her dreams and Ben would listen so intently he was certain he knew them by heart. She’d teach him about the Roman’s and the Aztecs, and Ben would hold her hand and sketch the skylines. With graduation approaching they knew that the year apart would be a difficult one, but both were prepared to commit. Ben’s parents helped them out a little, and with money they’d saved from part times jobs they scraped enough together to purchase a tiny apartment above a VHS store in LA. When Madison graduated that Summer, they moved in together. It was a big change but one that they both welcomed. The next year was a blur for Ben who was applying for placements, studying for finals and trying to put together a portfolio. But amongst all that chaos he always found time for Madison.

Even when her work took her away to an archaeological dig in Peru, the two communicated by letter and Maddie returned just in time for Ben’s graduation. He got a job at a firm in LA straight out of school, and two months later he proposed to Madison on the beach where they’d spent their first date. They got married the following Summer on that same beach, surrounded by their family and friends, before spending their honeymoon in Hawaii. For three years they enjoyed a blissful married life, travelling, trying out new jobs and finally purchasing a family home in the suburbs. Four months later Madison gave birth to a daughter. They named the little girl Natalie after Maddie’s grandmother and she was the most beautiful thing Ben had ever seen. Madison and Ben fumbled their way through those first few years of parenthood, Natalie didn’t exactly come with a manual, but she was a happy child and that was all that mattered. By the time Sam and Annabeth arrived two years later, the both of them were pros.

The kids grew up, surrounded by a loving, supportive family, and under the guidance of Ben and Madison they flourished. Los Angeles was a wonderful home for them in those years but eventually they grew out of it. Ben was offered a huge job in Seattle and after much deliberation the family upped sticks and moved to the cold, wet North. It took a fair bit of adjusting, but eventually they got used to it. Madison - who’d been teaching back in LA - got a job at the local high school and the kids (after much complaining) settled comfortably into their new home. When Natalie left for college it started a whole new chapter both in her life and in Ben and Madison’s, it was strange not having her in the house anymore. Their home, somehow quieter - though Nat had hardly made a dent in the ruckus Anna and Sam created. Ben had always been over protective of his eldest, but was insistent that she followed her dreams. Somehow Natalie knew that meant not being too far out of touch, and a compromise of Central Washington was made. Still, on Madison’s insistence, Natalie’s returns every other weekend for Sunday dinner. Ben knows one day they’ll all inevitably grow up and fly the nest, but they’re good kids and he trusts them to make the right decisions. For now his life in their suburban family home is a quiet one, and though Ben sometimes misses the faster pace of LA, he’s glad to finally have the time to spend with those he cares about the most.

Sebastian is, for the most part, a rather laid back individual. He is an artist at heart, but with realistic expectations and knows that he'll only get anywhere and do good for himself if he has a 'real job', as his parents call anything that makes good money. He never seems to sleep, and lives off of monster energy drinks and coffee and dangerous combinations of the two. It's a miracle he hasn't collapsed from this already. He tries to live up to his parents expectations, but never succeeds.

(  iiii; important historical moments  )
Sebastian has always been the odd one out in his family. From a young age, it was clear he wished to pursue artistical passions rather than practical ones like the rest of his family. His christmas list would have art supplies and he'd get more practical things like clothes, or books for school, and so on. He had to do chores and save up money in order to afford any of the artistic tools he wanted, either that or make do with lined paper and pencils. One of the ways he used to make money is he'd take markers (that he bought specifically to draw on skin, ones that wouldnt give ink poisoning so basically tattoo markers) and he'd sell his talent to kids at school, letting them pay him whatever to draw on their arms or legs. He got most of his things through doing this, until he got in trouble at school for drawing on the other students by the principal. Surprisingly, the parents didn't mind as much since it wasn't permanent, was nicely done, and he had consent from the students. Still, after being suspended for a few days, his parents were not happy with him. They cracked down hard on him and took away all of his art supplies, leaving him with no creative outlet. He ran away at 16 because of this, and lived with a friend while job hunting. He got the gig at the tattoo place after trying to apply to work for the bar next to it, and after showing some of his skill, was taken on to work part time while he learned everything he could. It was the perfect job for him, apparently, as he excelled quickly and before he knew it, at 20 he had his own chair in the parlor and his own clients. One of whom was one that the others struggled with, the head of a biker gang. But Sebastian, with his laid back personality, somehow managed to get along with him, and before he knew it, he was the only one allowed to tattoo anyone in the gang. He's been working at the parlor for 5 years since then, and has gotten really close to the gang, to where he's an honorary member. They'll escort him home on days that seem dangerous, as he didn't live on the best side of town. It's nice, actually, it feels like he has extended family. Though, several have said something about him studying to be a nurse, especially since he doesn't even want to be one. They don't think he should get a job that he doesn't like just for his parents.

Toby has always been completely and unapologetically himself. He's a kind, compassionate and loyal guy who's always happy to lend a hand to anyone. Often seen out on his family farm, looking after the neighbours kids or picking up groceries for his elderly relatives, Toby has proved that nothing is too much trouble for him. With his pleasant smile and affable nature, he's easy to get along with and always makes time for those he truly cares about. He's driven, motivated to succeed and willing to put in the hard grafting in order to get there. Growing up in a small town in Whitman county didn't allow for a great deal of individuality during his formative years, but that didn't stop Toby from embracing his quirks and simply being himself. He has always considered himself to be more ambitious than most who live in his town, Toby has big dreams and hopes to one day escape the monotony of Oaksdale and it's tiny population.

Though his goals are steadily pulling him away from his home life Toby will never let his family slip by the way side. He shares a strong bond with his siblings and his parents, and struggles to imagine not seeing them all the time. He's particularly selfless when it comes to family and it's only through his father's encouragement that Toby actually started studying Vet Medicine at all. He's incredibly motivated with regard to pursing his dreams and Toby likes to think that nothing will get in the way of that. He can be quite stubborn and fairly set in his ways, but Toby doesn't like to let this get in the way of who he truly is. Some might consider him a little too trusting, but Toby doesn't know any different. Oaksdale helped to shape that part of his personality with it's low crime rate and slow pace of life. In a town where everybody knows everybody who would Toby ever have to worry about.

Hɪsᴛᴏʀʏ
The tiny settlement of Oaksdale has been Toby's home for his entire life. With a population of under five hundred this sleepy little town on the border of Washington state is all that Toby has ever really known. He grew up - the eldest of three kids - on a farm on the outskirts of the town. His parents inherited the farm in the eighties and with dreams of escaping Pullman City, they decided Oaksdale was the best place to start their family. Toby enjoyed growing up in such a tight knit community, where all his friends were within a ten minute walk and the kids could play on the streets in relative safety. As the oldest sibling Toby was always protective over his little brother Luke and much younger sister Elena. The three of them were mostly inseparable in those early years, racing each other around the farm or exploring the oldest parts of the town together. The people of Oaksdale tended to hear the kids before they saw them, but always greeted them with a smile or a friendly wave.

The farm had been a fresh start for both Michael and Stella who had both been in high pressure jobs for most of their adult lives. And when Michael was made redundant and left unable to find a job, the farm pretty much became their saving grace. They moved out to the country side and took a hands-on approach to farming. There were a few difficult years where the harvests were bad, but eventually they got the hang of it. And when the kids were old enough they too helped out around the farm, sewing seeds and helping to pick the crops. Toby showed a lot of dedication towards looking after the animals, especially when it came to the cows and horses. He'd spend hours out in the fields, taking care of them and getting to know each of them individually. It came apparent from a very early age that Toby was destined to work with animals, and not long after his eleventh birthday he made it pretty clear that he wanted to study veterinary medicine.

Toby was educated at the local school and with it's small classes and familiar teachers he excelled. His science teacher was especially encouraging of his dreams, and provided him with extra work in order to improve his chances of getting into college. The school years were a blur of studying, working hard on the farm and spending time with his then girlfriend Gloria. The two of them became close after she too started taking extra classes with the hopes of going on to study Chemistry at Loyola University. They helped each other through their homework, practiced tests together and the next thing Toby knew they were kissing in the barn. The two of them stayed together throughout their school years, and parted on good terms after graduation. Gloria of course packed up and headed off to Loyola and Toby moved to the Pullman campus of CWU.

Six months had passed when Toby's father called him with devastating news. His mother had been in a traffic collision with a freight truck - she'd died at the scene. Heartbroken Toby came very close to dropping out of college there and then. He went home for several weeks, to look after his siblings and help his father out with the funeral arrangements. If it weren't for Michael's insistence Toby might not have gone back to college at all. But he did. Toby successfully completed the year, but moved back to Oaksdale when the semester was up. The farm had been struggling and though Michael would never have admitted it, to pay for Toby to remain in Pullman would have been too expensive. And so Toby took up two jobs, one as a delivery boy and the other as a sitter, using what he saved to purchase a motorbike for the commute to his classes in Pullman. Even after he paid off the bike Toby kept the sitting job, spending several evenings a week studying at his neighbours house and keeping an eye on their kid Lusca in the process.

It's been two years since then and though things have been difficult for Toby he's kept on powering through. He's been doing well at Uni and is currently into his third year of study with a couple of placements at veterinary hospitals under his belt. A very sweet boy who has to pretend to be tough to deal with the world he is forced to endure in. He wants nothing but to hide away until the nightmare ends, but he knows it never will. He has to be strong, since he is all he has and its not safe to cry when you're the only one who can watch out for you. In reality, he's just a sweet, innocent little boy who wants nothing more than to love and not have to be tough anymore, not have to see anyone die anymore. He's rather bright for his age though, very intuitive and has grown to be very resourceful.

(  iiii; important historical moments  )
Lusca was born to Britt-Marie and Fingal Henderson, both immigrated from Sweden to the US to work for SAAB and one of their projects. Lusca grew up in the US and while he has visited Sweden to see his extended family and relatives, the US is where he calls home. He's always been a rather insightful child, noticing things most children overlook which made it hard for things like arguments to happen as he would pick up on it easier than most kids. He was given a bright blue backpack with clouds on them for school that he absolutely loved and took with him everywhere to fill with random things, his mother was always having to empty it of leaves and rocks and feathers and things. But then, his work wanted him to go to a conference, and they wouldn't be able to bring Lusca, and thus the hunt for a babysitter started. They ended up picking Tobias.

Joseph often has a strong sense of purpose and moves forward with great zeal. Indomitable energy and indefatigability are the characteristic traits that mark him. He lives by courage and therefore can become a good leader when needed. Taking a very straight forward approach towards life, he faces it head long. But, really, he is nothing less than a born leader. Not waiting for others to take initiative, but he takes the onus himself and plunges to get the work done. Joseph chooses not to waste much time analyzing about consequences that might be. He is daring and stands erect for anything he believes in. He has all it takes to standing against the crowd. Therefore, he would never think of himself as any less and is fully confident on his abilities. Even so, Joseph is a complete adventure freak. He simply loves to take part into adventure sports. Feeling the adventurous nature gives him a kick to face life with a lot of positivity.

Though he has an aptitude athletically, Joseph is also naturally intelligent. With a sharp sense of wit, he possesses an amazing sense of knowledge on any subject, never failing to impress people around him. He makes use of his intelligence to create the best opportunities for himself, finding that general knowledge is a great advantage to have over others somewhat less than him in intellect. People find that though he can be intense and crass, he has an overall pleasing personality, which makes people simply fall in love with him. At the same time, he can be very impulsive. He is so daring that he mostly depends on his instincts without paying any heed to what the consequences might turn out to be. He never pauses when he's deep in work, finding that a disturbance could halt all progress. For him, there is no stopping until he finishes the work he started. Nevertheless, Joseph can still be very childlike and immature. He has a tendency to get a little aggressive if he doesn’t find things working the way he wants it to and proceeds to making conflict just so matters work in his favor.

The first child of a rather boring family, Joseph grew up with a rather boring childhood. They were a small family of four with him having one younger sister, Natalia. Their family wasn't particularly better off than the others in their neighborhood, but they made well with their jobs. Margaret Havilliard worked at her flower shop down in the center of shopping center while Gabe took on a job as a driver around their city. Joseph didn't often see his father as he was out upon hours end driving folks around. His relationship with his parents is a nice one. He adores his mother, but the sweet woman was always busy with either maintaining her shop or taking care of the family. Her back would be bent over another dish on the stove, putting so much time and effort she wished she could spend with her children. Joseph tried to do it along with her, but it turned out that he certainly did not have the aptitude for the work. Instead, he got along more with his father. He, too, was nearly always busy with work. However, he recalled that whenever he came home from work, he'd sit down in this crickety, old rocking chair in their living room and he would sit down with him, eager to hear all his stories of the different customers he had throughout the day. He was fascinated by all the faces his father met, more so that he just was fascinated by people in general.

The family had been once well off with a business but after a certain family, the McClouds, took interest in them, making it appear as if though they wished to help them, the bank foreclosed on their business and it was bought out. By who? Just the McClouds themselves. Nearly bankrupted without the business, the family struggled to get back on their feet. This was the start of the rivalry between the two families. They have a son, Oliver, that is Joseph's age and both of them hardly get along either.

Joseph, as a rather social child, was interested in interacting with everyone that he met, even greeting strangers on the street with a pearly smile. Joseph used to go out a lot with his next door neighbor, a boy that he spent a lot of with because the two were left alone to their own devices for some time after school until their parents came home. Leo, two years older than him, was his role model. He was everything that he hoped to be when he was older, or rather what he idealized. He was intelligent and charismatic, some things he admired greatly about him. Some would even say that it was certain that Joseph had a crush on his older friend. Joseph followed him everywhere, even when he chose to hang out with his own friends. He took every opportunity he could when introducing the two of them to new people to inform them that, "I'm Joseph, and he's Leo!" before following with some wayward reference to the actors in that one Inception movie. Leo wasn't as amused by it as him, but he never failed to make him smile through his excitement. Joseph certainly thought of him as his best friend, even if he didn't always think the same of him. Nevertheless, they were closer than most people, he believed.

Unfortunately, things changed in a bitter turn for Joseph. At the age of twenty two, he was involved in a car accident with his best friend that resulted in his friend's death and very clear damage to Joseph's state of mind. Traumatized, he was forced to use a wheelchair to navigate around at first when he began to heal from whatever happened. Joseph doesn't really remember what it is that happened to him, and the truck driver involved in the accident tells him that it was Leo that was responsible for what inevitably happened to them. When he had awaken after his accident, he couldn't seem to remember not only the accident, but the people around. A case of temporary memory loss, Joseph did not recognize Natalia, nor did he recognize his parents. They threw information at him, hoping that he would remember. And over the weeks, he did remember. But, he did not remember everything. Joseph could recall everything except the incident that crippled him. He did not experience a very serious brain injury from the accident, but rather suffered from intense PTSD, strange mood swings, and great anxiety when around vehicles. A very optimistic, happy guy dulled with a great personality change the year following the accident.

It's now been a year since his accident and Joseph has significantly improved. He's had some hardships over the year, but through therapy and spending closer time with his family, Joseph has learned to readjust to his life following the crisis. Things will never be the same as it was before, of course, but he manages as best as he can. While he may be able to make face and he has fallen back into old habits, Joseph still takes medication to combat the effects of his accident. While everyone else has moved on from the incident, Joseph still remembers it everyday as it still effects him. It has impeded him in that he missed a good year of medical school while recovering. But, hard work have managed to put him back in the running with his classmates. Now, not only is his inspiration for wanting to become a doctor the main man, "the Doctor" on BBC, but also because wanting to give back in a way to the community by being involved in a system that would help others that experienced injuries and trauma like him.

Joseph was devastated over the loss of Leo. To this day, he still hasn't gotten over the loss of a best friend and a potential lover. While he might never admit his attraction to the handsome older boy, he knows deep down that he had an affection for his best friend that had always and would always remain a secret. Joseph still has not been able to truly come out to anyone about the way he feels, for no one has been able to make his heart race like Leo had. It's not a secret he keeps because he is ashamed, but rather because he is not entirely sure of it himself.

He had another good friend that he came to know better because of Leo. That was Isaac. Isaac was an older guy, a good friend of Leo, the same age. Joseph would always be jealous when the two of them hung out together but didn't bring him along. He used to just be that younger kid to them when they were together. However, soon enough, they became good friends too. They had even come to share an apartment together with Leo. This all changed after the accident. Leo's stuff was all taken out by his mother and Isaac and him just couldn't get along the same as before without Leo around. They fell apart and their relationship was on the edge. Blame was thrown around and the two of them are no longer living together. Joseph hasn't quite seen him in a while.

Now, living in an apartment in Seattle with his roommate Robin, Joseph is well on his way in the medical program and living a rather good life in the city. He is still very unaware of what is yet to come.

{Strengths} Infiltration, High tolerance to pain, Skilled in Weaponry and Hand to Hand combat {Weaknesses} Fear of losing loved ones, Emotional Attatchments

{History}
William. A name. The only thing that was given to him by his birth parents before they dropped him off in an orphanage. The woman, might have gotten pregnant too early in her ears, an accident, or possibly forced to be given up despite her wishes. The man, perhaps a 'spirited teen,' maybe a man too focused on work to have a family, or he might have not even known of his child's existence. All these things William thought about as he spent his life in foster care, wondering what were the true identities of his birth parents. He was a rather well behaved kid, and his foster family sent him to school and cared for him, that was until they had a child of their own and William was once again transferred to another family. This time, he was under the pretense that they might adopt him, sadly, that didn't happen and he moved to another family that lived out on a farm, respectable, financially well off family with children of their own.

William grew up in that family, aided in chores around the house, attended middle school and high school with his foster brothers but never was truly part of the family. There was never a hint of the word adoption again in William's life and in time he 'aged out' of the program. When he turned eighteen he was legally on his own, graduated from high school, free to go wherever he wanted, and in truth, unable to go back to the house that he had lived in for the past six years. William had only one route to go in his mind, a route that would allow him to find a place to eat, sleep and work, and that was within the military.

He enlisted, he was accepted and they paid for his flight to move into the base where he would begin his training. He trained as a marine for a few years before joining a special forces that was operated under Commander Damian Harth. He worked along side the commander, and earned the nickname Will from his team, as well as the Commander's daughter who he'd often see by her father's side. Commander Harth, despite his unknowing of Will's past, took him under his wing, teaching him tactics, stealth, weaponry and infiltration. Damian Harth still treated Will as a soldier with no emotional exceptions to any task given to him but in their time spent with each other Will felt like he began to see Damian as what a father would be to him. On more than one occasion, Commander Harth saved Will's life and taught him valuable lessons, never once allowing for failure to be an option for Will.

In the years that passed, Will began to see more of the Commander's daughter, often joining her in her training and the work she performed along side her father. MacKenzie, otherwise known to him as 'Enzi,' was her father's daughter and picked up on the tasks at hand with ease, and with those that she had a harder time doing, Will was there to assist her in them. The relationship between the three of them grew and Will found himself wondering and truly feeling the world 'family' form in his brain when he was around them.

An abrupt piece of information met Will's ears one day, MacKenzie's mother, Addison had passed away in a fire. He had never met her, even though he imagined what their meeting would be like several times as he often heard stories about her through Enzi. This news came to him at a shock, and went to Commander Harth for answers, it was then that he revealed to him his assumption of a covered up murder, the cause of his wife's death had been planned. He wouldn't tell him anything more but he let him know that he was leaving, making him promise to keep a letter safe for him, unopened, unread and sealed for only Enzi's eyes to see.

Will was never able to deliver the letter to Enzi, she had disappeared from the military base along with her father. Months later the news was brought to him that both of them had died in a fire, he didn't know at that moment that Enzi had survived, and he didn't know that the fire had been planned to kill both father and daughter. He merely knew that he was an officer, hired by the government to protect, serve, and infiltrate by whichever means necessary.

{Occupation} Government Agent - Former military officer
{Place of Residence} Doesn't have a place to call home, moves constantly, staying in hotels or apartments for quick and easy access.

We all have our problems, our issues that we leave unresolved and buried. Some of us bother to try and fix them, others may see no point. Atty, he’s got his fair share of baggage packed up and stored, and he’s not looking to unpack and organize it anytime soon. There’s no point to it, not for him at least. He functions perfectly fine—well, realitvely speaking. The words ‘impulsive’ and ‘self-endangering’ may have been tossed around a few times.

It isn’t that Attican has no regard for his own well being...it’s just he gives more weight to others’ lives than his own. He does everything he can for others, probably to avoid having to deal with things closer to home plate. It’s a plus for any and everyone he sets his sights on and decides to help save. Be it safe them physically or mentally, once Atty’s focus has been narrowed in on someone, he’ll do everything in his power to help. Even though he is not the best at fixing up and taking care of himself, he has a knack for taking care of others.

Atty is plenty able to feel emotions, pretty strongly, in fact. Some are easier to embrace seeing as they do not require much thought to trigger, anger for instance. But those that eventually require digging deeper than te surface layer of his thoughts and into the pack away baggage he’s never wanting to face, he’ll shut down in a heart beat. This has resulted in a handful of failed relationships, needless to say. It wasn’t due to commitment issues, rather he was simply incapable of opening up enough. If he can’t open up to himself, no way he can to anyone else.

But love isn’t the only emotion he has trouble handling. Sadness. He doesn’t do sadness. As soon as something sad starts to scratch at him, Atty shuts it down, replacing it with either anger, rage, or simply ‘nothingness’. He’s been known to operate on ‘auto pilot’ from time to time, that is until something gets his blood pumping. That’s another reason he acts on impulse and rushes into life and death situations. It lets him feel something without risk of facing demons. It lets him feel pure adrenaline and a hard focus on the then and there.

peter PARKER
parker ━━━━━━

[ 19 · vii.iv × homme · bisexual × seattle, washington · student ]
PETER ISN'T AT ALL LIKE the comic book character most associate him with. He's not brave and courageous, or adorably awkward. He's painfully the awkward, the kind of awkward that leaves people uncomfortable if he's not careful. If not for the advice given to him by his siblings, he likely would have crashed and burned a while ago. For those who know him, this is nothing new. They've gotten used to it, and they could have gotten away with it if they didn't remark on it. Most people are disappointed to find that he's not as straight up a nerd as they would like to think. He understands that there are plenty of subjects to be interested in and he only really needs to focus on the ones he likes. Space is cool, but not his greatest passion. He likely won't be as caught up on the latest news and discoveries. Archeology and mathematics have his heart, though. He pretty muchh lives by it.

Chess used to be a big thing for Peter. He likes the logic behind it, how clear cut everything is. It's like dealing with people, and not really. It was the only way he could communicate with others without cringing or offending someone without meaning to. It was simple, it was easy. So easy, in fact, that he could have competed internationally if he wanted to. He still could, but his passion for the game isn't about the competition. It's connected with people he knows can understand the basics of the game and knowing that even if he loses ( which is rarely ), he's still having fun. The same could be said about his love for Archeology. This is what he nerds out for, what he practically breathes. He's all for learning about human history through civilizations. He's got pictures of himself beside relics that look like oversized rocks and little shards of clay pots. He's been to seminars and talks by some of the leading names in the fields. If there was any time he isn't awkward or unsure, it would be when he talks about archeology and the latest news.

For whatever reason, Peter is able to speak to people most of the time. He's still awkward; that doesn't change. But their view of him is different. First impressions are important, true, but he's found something of a loophole. Not so much a loophole as it is a set of algorithms that predict human behavior. Enough so that he can have an average conversation with a person. It works wonder, and that's exactly how he's been getting by. He still has his awkward moments; that all lies on him to pick up on social cues and such.
THERE ARE CERTAIN PERKS THAT come with being part of a family of geniuses and prodigies. For one, Peter never had to do deal with feeling left out about anything. Sure, his siblings could be older, but they could maintain a conversation on all the same things and he learned from it. He was glad to say that there were many of them in the Parker household and they functioned as more like a herd than anything else.

The Parker kids were never alone, and seemed to have no real opposition. They were the kids too smart to mingle with other students, but were either hated or envied. There would be a few instances in which one of them corrected a teacher and riled the whole class up, but the general opinion of them was mixed. Anyone who had the gall to attempt to bully them usually walked away mind blown or confused, which is pretty much every interaction with kids outside of the sibling group. Peter was no different, either. Aside from his painful awkwardness, he was right up there in confusing others around him.

The only problem with Peter was is awkwardness. He could be as cocksure as his siblings, well-versed and highly prepared for any intellectual discourse, but everything outside of that was uncharted territory. So he struggled to understand what it was tat contributed to that grating quality of his until blessedly his siblings stepped in. They decided to impart on him the knowledge that they used to get by, because human interaction was complicated when they weren't your family.

This was how Peter came into his own slightly less awkward self. It was a dream realized to be able to interact with people other than is siblings as he predicted behavior patterns with every word they let leave their mouth. The more they said, the better. But that meant he had to keep them talking, and it's already been established that he's pretty terrible at it. His siblings aided him on this front only to help him boost the signifying variables in te algorithm given to him.

And thus far, he can say people don't cringe when he opens his mouth anymore.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━{Personality}━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
◦Rugged◦Active◦Reasonable◦Adventurous◦Open minded◦Honest◦Caring◦Forceful◦
{Strengths} Handyman, great stamina, athletic, tolerant{Weaknesses} Emotions fuel his actions, Fear of losing a loved one, Quick temper

{History}
Clay's mother was born into a very poor family, the only thing that Gerald, Clay's father, found about Tina that was appealing were her looks. They had met in school, both dropped out early and married at a young age. She didn't mind, at the time, she found running away from home was the best thing that she could have done. Gerald hadn't taken up drinking then, he was a working man, employed at a lumber yard. However, when Gerald was dismissed from his position he fell into drinking, spending their money on cigarettes and beer every week. Clay was born into the family right before Gerald was fired from his job, they moved houses, into a small home out in the country. With very little income coming in from Clay's mother's work as a waitress, Gerald found himself amongst acquaintances that let him in on their secret to earning money. He started working with them, on the outside he was a simply employee at a paint shop but they were using the cans of paint to conceal drugs in order to distribute them for money.

Clay grew up in his home, never receiving any special attention, from his family. He went to school and he started to hear derogatory words aimed at his family's name. Being young, Clay was unfamiliar with most of the words that were being used, so like any child, he asked his parents what the meanings meant. His father answered Clay's questions with a slap to the face, telling him to never refer to their family with such terms. Clay remembers sitting in confusion in his room, hearing his mother and father yell as his father, Gerald opened another bottle of beer, his sixth that night. He tried to forget those memories, but he waited, until everything got quite and he would hear his mother come into his room. Patting his head softly as she explained to him everything he wanted to know, and trying to make Clay understand the circumstances they were in.

Clay's brothers Derrick and Tucker were born shortly after Clay, just two years apart but the twins became inseparable. They were in their own little world, sticking close to their dad and finding it funny when Clay got in trouble most of the time. Clay's only chance of survival in the family was due to his mother, her sweet words and patience allowed Clay to grow with better morals. At one point, when he had turned ten, he tried convincing his mother to run away, get away from the house. Clay was seeing the bruises forming on her arms and her face, and he knew that his father had caused those.

Over the years, Gerald had grown greedy, wanting more money, more security and suspected that everyone around him wanted to take that from him. One night, Clay's father went down to the paint shop and had an argument with the other guys who ran the business, Gerald wanted to take over, become one of the leading men instead of just a pawn. The conversation didn't go over well, and Gerald left with one of his teeth knocked out, two broken ribs from having been beaten and his position lost in the shop. Anger filled Gerald, more than the pain, it consumed him so much that he grabbed his shotgun and killed the two men right in front of their homes. The news was covered on the TV but no one found out who had been the murderer, the only ones who knew were the people living with him. As the news died down, Gerald took over the paint shop, hiring men from the outside in order to start afresh, and he continued to run the business of smuggling drugs.

One day in November, Clay's mother's health took a turn for the worse, she fell ill rapidly, cancer had filled her lungs and had spread more than what therapy could do to save her. Clay was 16 when his mother passed away, and he stopped speaking to his father, somehow blaming him for his mother's death. Clay's hate for his father grew, his mother was always the one to break the tension in the room but now that she was gone, there wasn't a moment that Clay wished that Gerald would have been the one to die instead of his mother. Clay refused to work with his father, and received several hits to the face and body due to his choice but despite the threats from his father Clay completed his studies and graduated high school. His brother's on the other hand, worked for their father, helping him with anything they needed and would take the truck down to deliver the 'paint.' Guns, beer and drugs filled their household constantly, and Clay wanted nothing more than to get away from it so he started working at other places, trying to get any shift he could in order to earn money. He was able to buy his own truck at the age of eighteen with the money he saved up and soon had to find a different place to work once his family started showing up at his job, trying to convince him to quit his job and work with them.

At the age of nineteen, Clay heard from his employer at the mechanic shop that Mr. Dayan, a frequent customer, was looking for a man to work on his field and handle his horses. Clay was unfamiliar with horses, but he knew how to be around them, and especially was more than capable of doing heavy manual labor. With his employer's good word and Clay's respectable demeanor, Mr. Dayan hired Clay to work at his farm. At first, Mr. Dayan was going to test to see how well Clay worked, but after a couple of months of outstanding performance, Clay was hired full time. Mr. Dayan had many rules, no foul language, respect, tidy image, no smoking, no drinking on the job but his most important rules were to never speak to his wife unless spoken to first but never in any circumstances was Clay to speak to Mr. Dayan's daughter, Allie.

The rules were simple but they were hard to follow at times, especially when he went out to rescue Allie in a storm. As well as the other time that he got into a bar fight with a couple of guys that were rough handling Allie. With moments like that happening, Clay found it harder to keep himself from talking to her, being around her, and liking her. But despite the warnings, both given by the father and Allie's older brother, Clay couldn't help but love Allie, a girl who appeared in his life, someone he wanted to protect and be with.

__________________________________________________________________
A baby boy, with round cheeks, and large eyes, only a wisp of hair on his head, looked up at his mommy, fists flailing. Thus was born Liam Hamson, a 7 lb, 4 oz boy, to a pair of young, but very influential, parents, in Toronto, Canada. The young, power couple, were excited to have their son be their newest member of their family. Liam's father was the mayor of Toronto's closest advisor, while his mother worked in the police force. Liam's parents tried to slow down their lives some when he was born, wanting nothing more than to be there for their son, and to experience the beginning of his life, every step of the way. It seemed that the city only sucked up their time though, and became more busy with each passing day. When Liam was three they decided to do something big, to take a leap of faith, they moved their family to Seattle, and began new lives. Liam's father took on a Monday thru Friday, Government job, and his mother became a Lieutenant at the precinct nearby. His father became more available to be there for Liam, and his mother tried as hard as she could to be home with her son on the weekends, she always made sure to verbally tell him how much she loved him before she had to go off to work. It put a strain on his parents relationship, because his father believed that his mom should be home more, and should put her career aside for her family, his mom had other plans, and was trying to work her way up the chain of command.

Liam was seven when his parents divorced, their lives going separate ways. Liam's father requested full custody of Liam, Liam's mom granted it, not fighting her husband, because she knew that her job would take a lot of her time up, whereas her husband could be there for their son. Liam didn't really understand anything that was happening, it was all very confusing for the little boy. How could a seven year old understand the difficulties between adults? Or comprehend what it meant to go 'separate' ways? Liam thought it was strange that him and his dad were moving into a new place, that his mom would only seem him once or twice a month from now on, and that he would have to go to a new school. Why couldn't mom live with them anymore? Who would sing him songs when he was sick? Would mom come to his baseball games? Would she attend his plays? Who would wash his clothes with the smelly good stuff? What about if his teddy bear, Mr. Tak, needed his eye sewed on again?

Liam's dad learned to sew, he became really good at singing kids songs, and patting his sons back when he would get sick, he attended every extra-curricular activity that Liam joined. Never missing even one game, or play. Liam's mom became more and more distant over the years, throwing herself into her work, and pushing back her emotions, and duties as a mother. While his dad embraced his parenting role, and never even really looked into dating anyone for a long time. His mom saw men now and again, but Liam didn't see her enough to notice, he was lucky if he saw her every few months, and even then, she would sometimes drop him right back off with his dad because something came up at work.

Liam grew up with a bestfriend, not exactly the girl next door, but they saw each other every day at school, and their parents were friends. The girl's parents seemed well off, but they didn't exactly treat their daughter well. Liam and she became the best of friends, and he tried to talk his dad into letting her spend the night as much as possible when they were kids. As they grew, and became teenagers, the sleepovers stopped, but the friendship did not. The two were still together as much as possible, keeping each other out of trouble, sometimes, and being the shoulder the other needed, when the time came for it. Both of their hearts were broken a few times in high school, and that was never an easy thing. Liam was trying to find someone to fill an empty void in his heart, one that seemed to never be filled, no matter the girl he dated. He wasn't sure if that was because it was his mom that he was missing, or because he just wasn't dating the girl that he was in love with. See, Liam had been secretly in love with his best friend since they were 15, not that he would ever admit that. He would much rather have her friendship, and protect her, than to risk ruining their friendship in any way.

The two always promised to attend college together, and so they did. They're both in college, pursuing different careers, but together often, nonetheless. His mother does not approve, she wanted her son to leave Seattle, to go to Yale, or Harvard, but instead he stayed where he grew up and began school nearby with his friend. His dad was happy, because that meant that he would still be able to stay at home whenever he wanted to, and they could have weekly dinners. Liam is pursuing his dreams of becoming a photographer, he loves being behind the lens. Food and nature are his favorite subjects, he isn't really into photographing actual people. His goals are simple at the moment, 1. Finish college, 2. Don't get arrested before then, 3. Really date, 4. Get own apartment. He's not sure how many of those goals he'll meet in the next year, but he's hoping to meet at least three out of four of them.

Education: Expelled from Harvard (view spoiler)

Relationship Status: Single

____________________________________________________________________

Oliver McCloud, a swaddled baby that was born into a booming empire, and more money than he would ever know what to do with. His father being an entrepreneur, and a successful one at that, was boasting with pride when his heir was born in late March. His mother, Rachel, was from the south, Alabama to be exact, and she did not fit in like most of the women that ran in her husbands circles. He was from the UK, and born into old money, so his money, on top of the old money, well it made him a very popular man. They lived in the world of the elite, for Rachel, elite in the south meant southern belle's and governors wives, nothing like what it meant where they lived in Seattle. Her husband, Nicolas, didn't mind that his wife stood out, it made him chuckle, and he called his wife 'quirky'. He had no thoughts that it might hurt her in any way with how he treated her at times, or talked about her with his friends. In Nicolas' eyes he loved his wife, and that was all that mattered. Rachel tried not to be offended by Nicolas, sometimes it got to her, and other times she could brush off his callous comments.

Rachel put forth all of her effort and love into her son, the first three years of his little life were spent with her daily, then he began going to a prep school at four. Nicolas had wanted to send him away for schooling, Rachel had put up her first fight against her husband, and won. Nicolas had never seen his wife so upset, and immediately gave into what she wanted, flabbergasted, he figured out quickly that he should not go between mother and son, ever. Oliver had no idea that his life was in such danger, he thought that his parents had always planned on letting him attend school nearby. His mother did her best to shield him from his fathers more cold side, Oliver couldn't always be spared though, and had more than his share of lectures and yelling matches with his father over the years. Oliver had friends from the time he could walk, all of them from the most elite families, for the most part. Oliver had cousins down in Alabama that he was allowed to visit every couple of years, and those memories were the strongest, running with the cousins that did not care about fashion, or getting your clothes dirty. As a matter of fact they were all about getting as dirty as possible and then jumping in the creek afterwards. Rachel sometimes wished that she had decided to raise her son back home, instead of in the city, around all of the elitist assholes that her husband partook with. It was too little too late though, and her son would one day take very much after his father in some ways.

Oliver found high school to be dull and boring, it was all about testing, and seeing who could get into the best Ivy league school. Of course his father was all about the same thing, so Oliver actually had to put forth a lot of effort during that time in his life, and attend tutoring sessions, and study groups. It wasn't pleasant, and made Oliver act out a lot on the weekends, drinking, drugs, joy rides. His mom was oblivious to most of it, but his father was not. He thought that he would allow his son to get that rakish attitude out of himself, that way he would behave later on in college. Oh how wrong he was, Harvard accepted Oliver, making his parents very proud. Oliver moved into Harvard, and seemed to be doing well the first year, so it was a surprise when he was expelled the next year. Of course Nicolas kept it out of the knowledge of his circles, claiming that his son decided to take a year off, maybe more, to spend time with family. Nicolas covered up that his son was constantly found partying, sometimes streaking down the streets, even on school nights. He sent Oliver to rehab, and took away all of his toys, like his phone, credit cards, and expensive cars.

Oliver was on good behavior for a while, he quit drugs completely, but still drank. He gained back his cards, cars, and phone, as well as a very expensive watch from his dad, a gift for completing rehab. His mom thought that he'd gone to Ireland for six months. Oliver loved his mother, and that was probably the only reason he didn't purposely embarrass his dad in front of all his rich friends. He knew that his mom was given a hard enough time by the socialistic bitches in his dads friends. It was stupid, and terrible, that his dad didn't even see how badly his mom was treated at events, and parties. Oliver saw it however, and would intentionally sleep with those womens daughters, and make it obvious to just them, embarrassing the mothers of those daughters, and making them worried that their daughters may never get a good husband because of it. Oliver got his revenge for his mom in his own ways. When he wasn't sleeping with girls, or partying, Oliver was 'learning' about his dad's work. Not something he wanted to do, but something his dad is requiring him to do, since he got kicked out of college.

"To those walking in the rain, they need someone to walk with them more than an umbrella. To those crying to themselves, more than a handkerchief, they need someone to cry on."

❝A  Remembrance ❞

Jake, an unexpected surprise for his parents. They'd had four girls already, and thought that they were done having babies, especially with no luck on having a boy yet! His father was just coming to terms with being an all girls daddy, when his wife became pregnant for the last time. She and he were so very excited when the sonogram revealed that they were having a boy and not another girl. Of course Jake's older sisters were just as excited, well almost as much, as their parents. The eldest, Jane, was especially looking forward to having a baby brother to tease and show off. Most of her friends had brothers, and they seemed like a lot of fun. Plus there wasn't a chance that he would be rummaging through her makeup or trying to steal her clothes. When Jake was born he was surrounded with love, and girls, everyone wanting to hold him. Jake was not put down much, even when he was sleeping, someone was usually holding him. His mum was a stay at home mum, and so was there the entire time with him as a baby, up until he began school at age five.

Jake, being a bit spoiled, caused a little ruckus in school, a few black eyes were given as well as received, and he seemed to be suspended from school at least twice every semester for some sort of mischievousness. His mother wasn't the only one that would scold him either, his sisters were on him just as much as mum was, if not more so. Jake drank up the attention though, and always just gave them that slanted grin of his, his charm naturally coming out, winning the hearts of the women in his life. Jake's dad was in their lives, but more so on the weekends, his work really took up a lot of his life. He provided for his family financially, while their mum provided for the family emotionally. Jake and his sisters never seemed to hold a grudge against their dad for not being there, it was more of an acceptance to who he was. Jake was very attentive to the women in his life, never wanting them to feel that all men were that way.

Jake went to college for business, and played a lot. His mum worried that he might not finish, but he surprised her by graduating on time, and without getting anyone pregnant! He wasn't as playful as she thought he was. Yes, he did date a lot, but he rarely slept with anyone he dated. Jake didn't believe in fooling the women he dated, he told them upfront whether he intended on having a long, or short relationship with them, and if he felt that they were marrying material for him. Jake has not introduced even one girl to his mum, because he refuses to, unless its the girl he plans on spending the rest of his life with. Jake became an associate at a PR Firm, they take care of rich, or famous clients, helping to cover up things sometimes, while other times trying to advertise them or their products. Its a fun, and very busy, job that keeps Jake on his toes. He hasn't gotten bored with it yet, and has met some very interesting people so far.

Kade, has been in several relationships, and every single one is different in some way. One thing that stays the same though, is that he has trouble becoming vulnerable with his partner. It's not because he has trust issues or anything, he's just knows from experience that how you feel doesn't always matter, or those feelings can freak someone out. So for him to be in an intimate relationship, he might seem really closed off for a while.

1.) Compassionate, Even if he doesn't always publicly show his compassionate side, it's there. Kade cares deeply for people, even if he doesn't know them. That's partly why he hated his time in the army, he couldn't stand to see the blood on his hands, even if the people that he killed were evil people.

2.)Focused, Kade has always been a focused man. Whenever he wants to put his mind to something, his focus will not waver. It's hard for him to get distracted, but not impossible. If someone he loved, or cared for were in danger, it would certainly cloud his focus.

3.)Loyal, Kade is a very loyal person. If he considers you a trustworthy person, he almost certainly would never betray you. Trust is something that Kade values. If you've proved yourself to him, not in words but in actions, he will trust you more deeply.

4.)Sharing, Kade is not a man who gets sentimental over objects. Nor does he care greatly when an object is lost. So sharing his things mean nothing to him. In fact, the people he shares with probably cares more than he does. Though he is willing to share his items, his thoughts and memories are a different story.

5.)Questioning, Now, even though Kade can be trusting, he still question a lot of things. If he first meets someone the first thing he thinks about is whether or not the person has a genuine character. Or if he should associated with said person. He'll even question a situation, even if no one can give him an answer. This is just the way his mind processes things.

6.)Disrespectful, Kade has always had issues when it comes to authority. He just won't show them respect all of the time. This is mainly due to the fact that he always questions everything that happens. Not only is he disrespectful to authority, but the people in general. He often asks the wrong questions in times of grief and loss.

7.)Stubborn, Everyone is stubborn in one way or another. Kade's stubbornness shows up when he's been told that something he believed to be true is wrong; when he's told that something he remembers seeing is just a lie. He will do his damndest to deny the truth, and turn the truth into the lie.

8.)Tense, It' s hard for Kade to let his gaurd down. He's been trained to understand that danger could happen at any moment. But even in social situations he's described as uncomfortable and closed off. Truth is Kades just setting up his defense.

Rᴇsɪᴅᴇɴᴄᴇ: An Apartment in Seattle

Fᴀᴛʜᴇʀ; Theodore Winters:
Kade respects his father very much. Anytime Kade ever had a problem, or needed a question answered. His father is always there for him. Which is more than Kade can say about himself. He hopes to be like his father someday.

Mᴏᴛʜᴇʀ; Liana Winters:
Kade's Mother is a very smart Women. In fact, he wants to believe that he got his questioning attitude from her. His learned a lot from his mother. Though he wishes he learned more, maybe then he would have gone into a different career.

Sɪʙʟɪɴɢs; Arabella Winters:
How does someone begin to describe the sibling relationship between little Ara, and Kade? Simple, they are like best friends. Arabella is the one person that Kade tells almost everything to. Well except for the things he's not supposed to tell her.

Fʀɪᴇɴᴅs; None at the moment
Eɴᴇᴍɪᴇs; None at the moment
Pᴇᴛ﹙s﹚; (view spoiler)

Arkadios Theo Winters, was actually born in the late fall, by his mother Liana, and his father Theodore. A family he loves dearly even if he doesn't say it that often. But, when Arkadios was growing up he often recalls on the memories of his family's book shop. His father was the main man in charge, while his mother was a historian. That's actually why his name is so unique. Arkadios is from Ancient Greece, which refers to the land Arcadia. An unspoiled harmonious land. Which is what his mother was studying, and it's what she hoped for Kade.

But as he grew up, around when he was 3, his mother and father told him about his new sister that was growing in his mommy's tummy. He was so happy, and to be honest very curious about the whole thing. He would press his ear against his mother's belly. He would talk to her all the time and tell her stories. Once she was born though, it took him a long time to like her again. She would cry and cry and would keep him up at night. Then when she wasn't crying he wouldn't be aloud to play with her because she was so young. But after time he began to love her.

In high school, Kade was very popular, he was Homecoming King, Captain of the football team, Captain of the Soccer team, and Class president. He even had A's & B's. But he didn't know what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. During his senior year he realized that high school was ending, and he was scared about life outside of school. So he did something rushed and impulsive. He joined the Army.

For purposes of this character you will not get to read what happened to Kade while he was serving. What you will read is descriptions of images from his past.

Blood. It's everywhere. On the ground, on my hands, on my soul. Death. Bodies litter the ground. The smell clinging to the air, and becomes a perfume of the soldiers fighting. Faces. Some alive and friendly, some stilled in an expression. But those faces haunt him.

As soon as Kade was able, he left the army and returned home. He became a changed man. He was more closed off, and cold seeming. He used to be so friendly and inviting. But now, he looked as if he was ready to fight for his life at any moment. His parents love him still, but they worry. His real friend though is Ara. He hasn't talked to her in a while, and he's becoming worried. So he recently packed his things and dropped them off at his parent's house. Now to search for Ara.

{ ʜɪsᴛᴏʀʏ }

[] Zachariah is a bit of you all American country boy. His parents owned a farm that had been in the family for several generations. He was always out helping in the fields or in the barn. By the time he was five he already knew how to drive a tractor. The boy wore boots and overalls for the first six years and each day they were covered in mud, dirt, or had to be patched.
[] School wasn't anything out of the ordinary. He had friends, teachers who admired him, and the young childhood girlfriend. The small country boy had started working on the farm, as he was the oldest out of six boys. Come middle school Zachariah had started playing sport and got some popularity. Out of all of the sport he play, he chose to stick with football.
[] In high school, Zachariah had become the football star and had a girlfriend. Everyone was his friend and he tried to be the best. Being popular had its advantages which did help him to get out of a lot of trouble. Eventually he decided to go to college for engineering but his family had little money to send him off to school and he had turned down football scholarships because he wanted to focus on something to get a career in. So at eighteen he signed with army since they were going to pay for his schooling. When his semester started, Zach went off to Seattle.
[] Four years later Zach had his bacholars and was being deploded out. His first tour was of course the most frightening for him. He did know how to use a gun but he had never killed a person. His unit did become like a second family to him. After his tour was finished, Zach went back to Cleveland for a little bit. His family was there to welcome him home and he saw some of his brothers were married and suspecting or engaged. After a few months with his family, he left and went back to his house in Washington.
[] Zachariah did get a job but it was nothing to big. He worked in a small race shop. Kids from around the state came in to get parts for their cars. He also did work on the army base. Zach did met a girl, whose name was Wendy. They had been together for awahile and he was thinking of marrying her. Wendy had went through him going through another tour.
[] His second tour had been twenty eight months as his degree in engineering came in hand be he also was starting to rank up. Zach doesn't talk about what happens when he's away but he called home to Wendy every chance he could. when he came home Wendy had changed a little bit but Zach didn't think much about it. Eventually Zach assumed that he was no longer need in thee army and had a lot of plans for him and Wendy.
[] Five years ago Zachariah had got a call to go back for a third tour. When Wendy found out she broke up with him saying she didn't want to havee to bury him. Zach understood as he realized why Wendy was a bit distant from him. So Zach left for his tour and this one lasted longer. His unit had so many missions that Zach stopped counting. His friends were there for him and he changed from they guy he had used to be. He guesed it was because of war, war always changes people.
[] On his last missions, Zach and his unit were sent out to kill some rebel leader so some sort. Zach had become handy with a sniper and was settling in his position on the hill while his team went into try and take everyone out and maybe question the leader before killing him. Well his unit got spotted and the were trying to regroup. Jay had gotten surrounded while the others had escaped. His captian told him to shoot their target but Zach couldn't let his friend be capture and killed so he saw some machinary. Having an engineering degree he choose to aim at it and the machine had exploded like he planned it to. When the machine exploded, everyone near it was killed, which was the enemy. One man had caught fire and was shooting rapidly in every direction. Jay had gotten shot with several bullets which killed him.
[] Zach was arrested a month later for failure to follow a direct order. Most thought he was being arrested for the death of one of his unit members. Later in court he was discharged and sent home. After going back to Seattle, Zackariah tried to get a job. He would get one then be fired or told that since he has a dishonorable discharge his resume is invaild. For a year he's had little luck with getting a job. Recently Zach has met Arabella and has been seeing her for about two months.

❝A  Remembrance ❞

Jace Cauldron was born in Victorville, CA. His mom took him home three days after he was born, their house was nothing to brag about, but it was theirs. His dad was stationed a few hours away, his parents weren't together. His dad didn't really have much interest in his newly born son, despite his ex trying to involve him. Jace wouldn't know what it was like to throw a baseball with his father, he wouldn't have him show up to any of his baseball games, nor would they experience fishing trips together like most boys. Instead Jace would grow up learning most of what he knew from his mother and grandmother, he was learning to bake by the time he could stand up on a chair, and he was cooking in the kitchen by the time he was eight.

Even though it may have been embarrassing to some boys to be called a 'mama's boy', it certainly wasn't to Jace. He would just grin if he got nicknamed that by anyone that was he knew. There was nothing wrong with being close to ones mom in the young boys opinion, and he took pride in being close to his family. They had each other, and that was enough. There were no worries, or stressful situations over toys, money, or anything physical, everyone pulled their own weight, and leaned on one another when they were having a hard time.

Middle school was a bit rough, but Jace got through it, everyone kept telling him that high school was better, what kind of b.s was that? High school wasn't fun, cool, or easier, it was terrible. College however, now that was something worth waiting for. Why did no one tell him that he should just wait out until college? There would have been a whole lot of truth in that. College was the relief, the out, that Jace had been looking and waiting for. There were real, mature people in college that Jace could relate to, and they wanted to be his friend. One in particular wanted to be more than his friend, but she didn't catch his eye until he was almost graduated. Her name? Hannah, Hannah Brevard. She was 5'7, had long blonde hair, and legs that went on for ages.

Hannah was from old money, her parents were from the heart of the south, and believed that their daughter deserved the best of everything, and that included her taste in men. She was leery about getting too close to Jace, she thought that he would either be a one night stand, or another fling, like all of her past boyfriends. Without her realizing it though, she fell in love with him, head over heels it would seem. Jace however wasn't as convinced for the first year, he dated Hannah, and liked her, a lot, but he didn't really see himself as marrying anyone for a long while. He wanted to travel, to teach in third world countries, to try and make a difference in a world that was seemingly falling apart.

Hannah had other plans, she needed to get married, and she saw Jace as hers. which meant everyone else had to back off. Jace got his first job at a private elementary school, Hannah's dad helped him get the job. Jace was not thrilled, and Hannah was let down by how unappreciative he seemed. Jace only spent a year at that job, before enrolling into school part-time and working at some rundown High school on the bad part of town. He decided to get his masters, so that he could begin working at a college. He wanted to get there on his own as well, without the help of Hannah's dad.

Hannah had Jace marrying her in a matter of months after quitting the private school job, she was eager to start having children and trying to get Jace to settle down, before he ran off to try and save the world. She didn't agree with his ideals, or dreams, and wanted to mold him into the person she needed as a husband. Jace felt that his life began to be taken over by a tornado of events, marriage, babies, and then a very strange, elite life. Jace and Hannah had twin girls together, River and Rain, they were pudgy little things, and had Jace's heart from the moment they were born. If Jace loved anyone in the world, it was definitely his daughters. With the children came a whole new social circle, there were playdates, and gatherings, there were discussions of nannies, and boarding schools, committees and extra curricular activities. Of course Jace disagreed with nannies and boarding schools, he told Hannah that his mom could watch the twins, and that River and Rain would do just fine at the elementary school down the road. Hannah insisted on a private school, which Jace caved to, and she pushed him to allow her to at least put River and Rain in some activities after school. Jace wasn't happy that these were forced upon the girls, but what could he do? Hannah was a persuasive creature, and she was home with toddlers more than Jace was. Or so he assumed, since she didn't work. River and Rain were only two years old when Hannah began sending them to ballet, Judo, and theater. They were four when Jace finally landed a good, stable, well paying job at a college he could be proud of. Hannah wasn't happy that her husband would rather teach at a college than work with her dad, it didn't sound very good at her dinner parties, but this was something that Jace wasn't going to back down from. He lives mostly happy with his little family, and tries to join in on his mothers life when he can, but it doesn't always happen like he'd like it to.
