I know the feeling. I like books more than shoes!

Marie, such an interesting and pivotal time in history. World War 1 propelled the entire planet into the age of globalization. There had been plenty of wars that involved all the key players, but WW1 took it to a whole new level.

Also, it reminds me of Harry Potter and He Who Must Not Be Named. Silly business. All you have to do is look the person up and you know what they've written anyway.

C.L. - Good luck with book #2. I'm looking forward to reading it. For me, it seemed like just finding where to start the second book was the hardest part.

I'm definitely going to pick up several of the books on this thread. To all of those who put out multiple books a year - wow, I'm so impressed. Got a long way to go. Does it get any easier with the more books you put out?

Carole P. Roman | 4665 comments Mod
That's a good question, CC. For me as soon as I finish one book, it's like another one moves into my head. I think Michael (my son) writes his books as though his characters are living and breathing people. Watching him as he develops a story, he has their futures mapped out and is making plans about them while he is in the earlier books. It may not come out the way he expects, but he tells me the characters tell him where they want to go. He never takes a break, for that matter, neither do I and is always ready to jump into the next adventure.
