I.J | 0 comments Read this before bed last night, and I was hit with emotions I didn't even expect to feel while reading a young adult book. I have't really been into fiction for a while now, but this might have revived my interest in the genre. Definitely going to see the movie.

Anyone else reading this?

lanie | 12 comments I also started this book last night and finished it up this morning. I thought it was a little overly-sweet but appropriate for the age group (I guess I'd classify this as early-YA/not quite junior reader level). I really liked it but at the same time, I feel like it was pretty heavy-handed with its message, which is leaving me kind of conflicted about it.

I definitely want to see how the movie will turn out.

RC (rochestar) | 43 comments I just started reading this this morning. Since both of you mentioned that it's an easy read I also got station eleven. I like wonder so far. Julien is pissing me off and August is funny. Hopefully I don't start weeping.

RC (rochestar) | 43 comments I just finished this. I'm very interested in seeing it in film.

Erica (reviewer626) im also curious to see the film. i think this is a very worthy story for children/families/everyone to read! i thought the book was overly saccharine, but as a YA novel, it was definitely a good read for the target age group.

Im curious how they'll do the film though, I liked how they didn't necessarily describe Auggie's face in detail, and I wonder how that will translate in a film when you obviously need to see him

James Lamb | 5 comments A little over 3/4 of the way through the book. It's very easy to read and I agree that it's a little too saccharine. I loved Olivia's chapter though - as a sibling of someone with a disability, I really related to how she feels towards August.

Carla (hidingmyheart) About 3/4 done with this and it's making me feel allll of the emotions. Probably cried 2 or 3 times already. Guess I'm just a sap, ha.
