Echo has a very sad past with her mom being bipolar and trying to kill her, brother getting blown up in Afghanistan, her father acting like a drill sergeant and a step mother who is pregnant. Life seems hard.

Noah seems like a hardass, but I'm pretty sure he is sweet. I love his determination to get custody of his brothers. He also has a hard past as well.

Mrs. Collins is an awesome person! I think she is intentionally putting these two together to break their shells.

Echo and Noah seem like that'd be a cute couple. Opposites do attract.
I love the humor in the remarks all these characters make. Humor is good!

I'm up to page 40. It sounds like Noah has a full on life and his focus is on his brothers instead of school. Echo needs better friends. I like the one who has stuck by her. They all care about popularity & status. I couldn't stand to have friends like that. What's up with her ex-bf? Is he trying to get back in with her? I hope not! Ashley, the step mom, sounds like a bitch, doesn't care for echo at all. I can't wait to carry on. See if the Therapist can see through their exteriors and help them both.
