Cork has many flaws, obviously. What do you find redeeming about the character?

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 694 comments I think he's a good man at heart someone who tried to perform his duties as Sheriff as honorably as he could. He's also a good father.

His heart always seemed to be in the right place. He's juggling a lot of issues and is spread pretty thin. I liked that he loves his family and even how he felt about Molly. His tribute to her at the end was touching. Cork's also an enigma given his heritage. I like how he owns all of it.

Mary Beth | 193 comments I agree he was a very good father and was very well respected and people seemed to look up to him. I think he was a good sheriff until he was let go. I really did like his character.

He seems to be involved in his kids' lives so that makes me think he is a good man.

Angela | 155 comments I liked his character. He is a good father and clearly was a well respected Sheriff, given the number of people who still called him sheriff. I also liked how he wouldn't let go of the mystery until it had been solved.
