Cork is sleeping with Molly, Jo with Parrant...does this marriage have a chance?

It's very hard for me to see how the marriage can ever recover after the events of this book. Jo may have been the first one to cheat, but Cork thought he had done it first so clearly they were both willing to break their marriage vows. Add to that the fact that Jo was sleeping with a murderer and would have eventually taken him home to the kids and that Jo's lover murdered Cork's lover. Seems like a lot of damage to me.

Great points, Veronica. In my heart, I just can't see these two surviving as a couple. Infidelity is normally a symptom of something else that lies beneath and they don't seem to have even defined what that is. Combine that with the horrendous outcome of their cheating...I think this marriage is doomed and not even on life support.

And they've both seen graphic pictures of the other in the act of having sex with someone else. I don't think you can ever really get those visuals out of your head. No life support here, I agree.

I think that there is not a chance that this relationship can last. Especially with Sandy being the killer and Jo could of brought him home. Since they both knew that each other was having a relationship I just can not see this happening. All love would have to be lost. They both would not be able to get over that. There would nevet be any trust and if you dont have that no relationship could last.

I agree with you ladies. I think the only way they will get together is time and some big thing to tie them together.

I agree. I can't see Jo and Cork ever being a couple again.
