Hi Chris, Just wanted to say thanks for the friend request. I just went back into the 'introduce yourself' thread for the first time in a while and saw that it was for dragon obsession related reasons ;-). I can actually pin the blame for my obsession on Toothless the dragon from the Dreamworks film How to Train your Dragon. I just adore him so much and so have to read every book that features dragons to get my fix. Have you ever seen it?I had a look at your bookshelves and saw you had The Copper Promise on your want to read shelf. I am reading the last book in the trilogy at the moment and I have loved them all. Dragons do feature in it but it was the main trio of characters and their friendship that really make me love it. When you get around to reading it I hope you like it.

I reserve the right to go back and resume any of the above, but my efforts to do so to finish 2021 haven't worked so well.
Rhythm of War is one I will not DNF, as I'm too far into it and it's too good to give up on. I'm going to find some chapter summaries to refresh me on what I've read and then at some point pick it back up. I didn't stop for slumpy reasons, but because a year ago I fly back to visit my Dad before he passed away and it was too big to fit into my luggage. Since returning I never got around to picking it back up.

Oh cool. I need to make one of these threads. I’m getting confused with everything and dropping balls. And the link to the discussion is brilliant. It’s hard to remember what I committed to.
Yeah, just make a thread for yourself in this folder. It's the only way I can keep up with what's coming up and also find the discussions for books I'm reading....
This year I started putting the note at the end whether I was reading it in ebook, audiobook, or a real book. Then I can gauge where to squeeze in other stuff...
That’s a good idea. I abandoned real books for a while but I want to try to add them back in. So I have to plan that I can get through audiobooks at 2.5 speed, ereader books as 1.25 speed and dead tree books at .25 speed cause I’m the slowest reader in history.
