I'm reading this having already read some of the next in the series, so perhaps I'm a little bias as to how much I'm enjoying it, or just waiting for something to happen ...Annie and Beauvoir, I'm looking at you!

I also love this quote from the book, I feel like I need to be reminded of it a little more;
"Armand Gamache knew no good ever came from putting up walls. What people mistook for safety was in fact captivity. And few things thrived in captivity."
