I love this. Although it's very hard to for me to destroy a book I will definitely use this page as inspiration for those that are too far gone to save.
Sure, many of us donate our excess books to a local charity, or pass them on to friends or family (or schools, nursing homes, etc.)... but have you ever made something from old books, or done something unusual with them?
I've seen book safes, wall shelves, and other things made from books. What have you seen, or done yourself? What uses (practical, crazy, or in-between) can you come up with?
