For the record this group never has and will not tolerate reciprocal reviews. It is the intentions of this group that each author submit their work, and each reader request to review work within their interest, and not based on receiving a certain rating or because someone else read your body of work. You may chose an authors work based only on interest in critiquing the book, and not the author and for no other reason but an honest review of the requested book without malice or any form of benevolencetowards the author, regardless of rating. Every individual has their own rating scale, and we do not unduly influence the ratings of any critique. You must be honest and fair. If you feel that this cannot be done, then return the requested book to the pool.
You can read and review a book by an author that has reviewed/read your book. However, it cannot be because they gave you a good rating and you wish to give them a good rating in return... or conversely that they rated you poorly and you wish to rate them in kind. <===That is reciprocal reviewing.
You must give an honest read and review to any book chosen. It is understandable and inevitable that you will read a book by someone that reviewed your book, but that cannot ever be your reason for your read/review of their book. If this is suspected, you will not be allowed to participate in the review pool any longer.
