Grimdark Fantasy discussion

So I don't want to mix the discussions in the DP threads so better make a new one.

Just finished The Tyrant's Law and gotta say, a five star read guys *slow clap*

I hope I can finish the series before the end of the month and thus have more questions for the Q&A.

Finished The King's Blood. Really like the direction of the series...and I really hate Geder. I've now read 6 novels by Abraham, and I must say that that dude can flat-out write. Thinking back to his Long Price Quartet when I was only two books in, and I would actually give LPQ a slight edge over DatC.

I've read the entire D&C series. It built every book and was terrific. I'm starting LPQ next month.

I am still trying to start book 4 but I don't think I will finish by end of February *sigh
