I'm just starting that particular time. I completely understand!

Roz, do you mean, "Two Tough To Topple"? Or are you suggesting another option, "Two Tough to Trouble"?

Do we have a winner?
BTW, I am willing to unleash my spreadsheet addiction if needed. I can keep track.

I like 'Two Tough To Topple". I think we have a winner if its okay with everyone.
Thanks for volunteering to keep score for us, Esther. Set up the reporting thread with your instructions for us whenever you're ready.

How is everyone's gophering going?
Is anyone focusing on the holidays that get extra points?

Hate romance (need to find something shortish...)
Oscar night : thinking One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest which will double for my hospital choice in the annual challenge.
National Pizza: Food and eating pizza. Easy
Flirting week: a free 5 points!
Snark: My snark idea is also my romance book.. but we're not allowed to double categories for one title (shame). I'll look through my ebook library to see if I can find anything else.
American Pie... I may struggle to come up with a convincing argument for a book. I'll need to think about this one. Somethng about Rolling Stones / horror for verse 5?
My issue will be finding books that aren't all 300 pages plus.
Anyone else going for the extra points?

It does. I actually have it on my list of possibilities for this Toppler.

I could read Bridge to Terabithia as a Newberry Winner 5 extra pts. - National Children's Dental Health Month
and
Thank a Mailman: Swimming Lessons
Black History Month: The House Girl (a maybe)
Romance: can read one and earn extra points because I don't read romances-avoid them unless they are classics.
Maybe: Love Your Pet Day and National Weddings Month
I'll gopher some more and come up with a more specific list of books.
I'm just not good with sci-fi or vampires and zombies.

As usual, I will commit to 2 books, one audio and one paper although I should add a few more.

Canned Food Month: Into the Forest
National Children's Dental Month: When You Reach Me + Newberry Award
Ground Hog Day: A Caribbean Mystery
Thank a Mailman: Bridget Jones's Diary
Oscar Night: Psycho + I saw the movie and will compare

Seriously? Death by toothpaste? Need to know more...

... but I don't think I can bring myself to read it. My toes curl and my teeth stand on edge just thinking about it. Not my taste at all. (And there are FIVE in the series)
Apologies to anyone who loves this genre BTW and especially to the author... sorry Jess
