Bkwmlee | 544 comments Looking back at my reading habits over the past few decades, I realize that most of the books I’ve read have either been “from” or “set in” one of three countries: United States, England, China (including Hong Kong). Sure, I’ve read a few books set in other countries back during my school days, but that was a long time ago, plus it was only a handful of books in comparison.

One of my goals this year is to diversify my reading by incorporating books that are either set in or from countries outside of these three. From a global perspective, I’m sure there are tons of great books out there and I feel like I’m missing out on a lot by not branching out further with my reading.

I hope to use this thread to help me keep track of the books (and countries) I read for this challenge. I set a goal of 15 books to start, but most likely (hopefully) this will be a challenge that will continue for years to come. :-)
