Yes :) although for me most books are subject to library holds so it will be +/- a week likely. I will be liberal with spoiler tags

This is supposed to start today, but you can always start a little bit late. I am starting tonight!

Well, serves me right...:).
I am at Chapter 2 right now and so far I like it though I'm gonna have to take out my dictionary again for the vocabulary related to ships. I don't know some of the terms even in my mother tongue, let alone in English so I'll have to study a bit.
The start is intriguing and I'm curious to see what the story is about. I love the description of the landscapes - I can picture them so easily in my mind!
I have just started this (life got in the way of starting earlier). I should be able to comment soon. :)

I think Mrs. Hobb does a great job yet again in making you feel the injustice done to the characters and making you empathise and identify with them. There is not much action per-se in the book till now and yet i cannot seem to put it down. After reading Farseer I thought I wouldn't get caught in another trilogy this way very soon, but then came Night Angel that had me again from the first few pages and now this! I'm already hooked AGAIN!!!

I'm only on chapter 2 and I'm having a very hard time getting into this book. I read a couple pages and then decide to pick it back up again later and just keep doing that over and over.. I think I am in a reading slump... :(

Pleased to hear it. This is a wonderful trilogy.

Yay!
Sadly, I think I'm going to have to put this book back on the the to-read shelf for now. I am glad you are enjoying it, Laura, and I hope I can have the chance to talk about with you in the future.

I started on the Mad Ship today and hope to finish the whole trilogy before the buddy read for Tad Williams. I wouldn't be able to wait longer anyway! It's that good! I find Hobb's writing brilliant, even if the action is less. There is so much to learn from her stories about human nature... she gives one so much to ponder upon...

I bet you will want to read the Rainwild Chronicles once you've finished this trilogy, Laura!

I do agree that I love her writing style. Hope you enjoy the rest of the series!

Laura I'm so glad you're loving these!! For the record, I'd say read the tawny man before rain wilds so the chronology isn't screwed up. :)
