This may be a little weird, but often I found myself feeling blind while reading the parts about Paul after he loses his sight. I'd look up from the text and feel as if my eyes were actually closed, though I could obviously see everything. Anyone else get this feeling or am I just insane?

I sure didn't get that feeling. But sounds like you had an intense experience. I'd say that's pretty cool. Frank Herbert can write the words, man. Haha!
