People do business with people because they choose to, not because they have to. We can always find others doing the same thing or selling the same product, it's the personal connection that makes the difference.

I don't know who said that so I cannot attribute it, but do you think this is true?

Julie Kolb (juliekolb) Depends.

There are some business you work with simply because they are the only place to acquire a certain product, not because you like them.

Then there are others that will be one among many, but people go out if their way for one because they are so well likes.

It can be hard to be the latter.

Good points.

Janet If everyone did business with only the people they liked, the business world, or indeed the world itself, would be a much happier place!!

Amanda (Amy) Goode (ThisIsAmy101) | 2 comments Oh there are definitely "people" (read insurance companies, hospitals, auto companies)...which apparently are the same as people if we trust the wisdom of the Supreme Court *choak* *wheez* *gag*... I "do business with" solely out of necessity. I have no desire whatsoever to associate with them. I have to. It sucks.
