This bookshop is displaying all books written by men backwards

In honour of Women’s History Month, staff at the store have displayed all books written by men backwards, with their spines hidden, as a visual representation of just how overwhelmingly male the our reading lists still are.

I used to restock the shelves at the public library when I was a kid. That photo gives me the willies in some weird, Pavlovian way.

At first glance for me it was like "oh this is cool", but a minute later all I can think is "this is SO wrong".

I wonder how this will translate to sales.
