Scott and I both selected books we were curious about after they were mentioned on the podcast, some directly and some in passing.

Jenny, you have such interesting guests and though I searched your blog, I couldn't find anything about them. Who is Scott? How do you know him? How do you select your guests? Just curious : )

Good show! The Sparrow will be my next audiobook. Listened to the podcast while walking my doggies through the snow in the 1 degree Fahrenheit moonscape that is MN, and it was a bonus to see the ISS drift by the Big Dipper and through Cassiopeia while Scott and Jenny talk about The Sparrow.

I first got to know Scott after a few guest appearances on the SFF Audio podcast. You can hear his voice every two weeks on the A Good Story is Hard to Find Podcast. In general I try to link to the online presence of the person who appears, so if you look at the end of that episode's show notes, you can find him in Twitter and his blog too.

I find guests everywhere I can! Interested?

Wow, beautiful imagery. Almost like being in space on earth. Which I suppose ... also in space. :)

The book I read last year that I recommend to everyone is The More They Disappear: A Novel. It's a new book, but so rich with details about life in the South and the effect methamphetamine addiction has had on the population.
