What did you make of that melee in the courtroom when the verdict was announced? Should they have been better prepared?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments I showed how egotistical and stupid the Millhouse's were that they thought they could get away with an escape.

Yes, there should have been a lot more security there. This was a high profile, volatile verdict. Racially charged, with hotheads on both sides. Defiantly a power keg waiting to blow.

CD {Boulder Blvd} (boulderblvd) | 39 comments The Millhouses weren't portrayed as the type who could make this happen. I also think that in real life there may have been more security in the courtroom and less of a public press conference on the courthouse steps.

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) I agree there should have been more security although it's really hard to get a weapon through security these days so I thought the way they did that was really unique and believable. I think things would have been crazy at the press conference on the courthouse steps so they would have had a lot more security there as well. They knew people were going to react badly no matter which way it went.

I thought it was crazy how Cindy Millhouse could even get near Daphne. The only thing they shouldn't have been prepared for was a weapon. That was just crazy.

Regarding the press conference, they had security but no one seemed to be focused on the Millhouses except J. D. Fitzpatrick. If he hadn't bird dogged and tied down Bill Millhouse, it would have been a disaster.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments I thought the plastic knife was an wonderful plot point. I loved it. It could so happen.
