I have some - rather many almost completed books to do here but I would like to make sure first that I have Lindbergh completed. I will add the other books as well. I may have Lindbergh completed before the readathon but I have tons of others.

Lindbergh by A. Scott Berg by A. Scott Berg (no photo)

I will also be kicking off Black Flags: The Rise of ISIS

Black Flags The Rise of ISIS by Joby Warrick by Joby Warrick Joby Warrick

I will also come back and list all of the other books that are in play later.

Let us know what your plans are for the readathon.

I always suggest to have a pile of books at your side that are in play so that as your mood changes - you can switch off and take a break and read some of another book.

Also various genres works. You do not have to read all non fiction or history books for the readathons - you can read whatever you like. The sky is the limit.

Hello Diana - those are two great choices. Let me help you with the citations while you have some time to get up and running on how they are done. We add the bookcover when available which you have done pitch perfect for both, then the word by which we add manually, then the author's photo when available and then we add finally the author's link which is the author's name in linkable text. We always type normally and just add the citations at the bottom or by themselves.

I will show you how they are supposed to look:

How to Be a Victorian by Ruth Goodman by Ruth Goodman (no photo)

Your second book:

Vimy The Battle and the Legend by Tim Cook by Tim Cook Tim Cook

Here is a link to the Mechanics of the Board thread which might be of some help:

When you get an opportunity you may try to edit message 5 and see how you do and we will be here to help you.

You are getting better at it.

For the first one between the ] bracket of the book cover and beginning bracket [ for the author's link put in a space type in the word by and put in another space. At the end after the author's name in linkable text - add the end (no photo)

For the second one you did extremely well - thank you for persevering

I was going to skip this Readathon, but I'm in the middle of 2 historical fictions, and expecting another one at my library. Not sure which I will be reading, but one or more of these.

Necessity (Thessaly, #3) by Jo Walton by Jo Walton Jo Walton
Tyrant of the Mind (Medieval Mystery, #2) by Priscilla Royal by Priscilla Royal Priscilla Royal
Sorrow Without End (Medieval Mystery, #3) by Priscilla Royal by Priscilla Royal Priscilla Royal

Why skip when you are reading anyway - might as well get the credit. Glad to have you - post your particulars - Pacific Time I know and change from no to yes

message 15: by Doris (new)

Doris (webgeekstress) I expect I'll be reading one or both of Washington: A Life and The Gospel of John (my Lenten reading). I may throw in a short story or two to break things up, but that remains to be seen.

The Gospel of John (Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture) by Francis Martin by Francis Martin (no photo)
