Karen (rhyta) | 3 comments Just finished this one A Study in Silks (The Baskerville Affair, #1) by Emma Jane Holloway
and wondered if anyone here has read it or the whole series.

I am going to continue on with it, first one started slow but enjoyed it . Having Sherlock Holmes as your uncle makes Evelina a lucky gal.

Karen (rhyta) | 3 comments I finished the whole trilogy and it was very good. Clever tie-ins with Holmes and his brother woven into the narrative.
There is a small story collection The Baskerville Tales (Short Stories) The Adventure of the Wollaston Ritual, The Strange and Alarming Courtship of Miss Imogen Roth, The Steamspinner Mutiny by Emma Jane Holloway they should be read before moving on to book two.
A Study in Darkness (The Baskerville Affair, #2) by Emma Jane Holloway The second one was as the title said Dark, as in magic and Evelina's learning more about it. I was a bit letdown by the ending of it and A Study in Ashes (The Baskerville Affair, #3) by Emma Jane Holloway started off in the same vein but it did redeem itself in the end. Well worth reading and they are long stories.
