I first read it years ago and LOVED the series (I think I was about 10 or 11, but I'm not certain?).
However, I decided to re-read this series last year and rated it one star... I'm interested to know what everyone thinks though :)

Naoé | 361 comments I read it a few weeks ago I found it entraining and I liked the story and the characters but at the same time some scenes annoyed me and sometimes I was so mad during my read but ultimately I still find it's a nice book series even if it's not the best but I totally get why some people can hate or at least not like this story

Jodie May I really liked the book series.

I think one of my main issues with this book was (view spoiler)

The Book Crusader (thebookcrusader) | 3 comments I heard terrible things about the book, and I was already familiar with Fitzpatrick's "Be Nice" drama, though I wanted to find out first hand if any of what I read was true.

It defied my expectations...for how awful it was. The overly simplistic writing style, the unrealistic dialogue that doesn't sound remotely like anything an actual person would say, the onenote characters, the fact that Fitzpatrick wrote the laziest excuse for a protagonist to describe herself in the history of literature.

Not only that, from what I've gathered, Fitzpatrick basically writes the same book over and over again.
